Directed by Jocelyn Moorhouse, whose directing credits include Boy Swallows Universe, Susan Sarandon teams up with Bette Midler, Sheryl Lee Ralph, and Megan Mullally for the "uproarious comedy" set to release in movie theaters worldwide on July 26.

New comedy film The Fabulous Four follows four college pals and a surprise wedding
In The Fabulous Four, a group of three old-time friends Lou, Alice and Kitty (played by Susan Sarandon, Megan Mullally and Sheryl Lee Ralph) travels to Key West, Florida to meet their other college pal, Marilyn (played by Bette Midler). What they thought was a last-minute fun trip to Key West was Marilyn's surprise wedding, and they were invited as the bridesmaids.
The hilarious dynamic reunites for the beautiful wedding, but along the way, new challenges and plot twists have them rekindling their friendship, discovering fun activities and fending off thieves.
Worried that their friend might be using her upcoming nuptials as a coping mechanism to deal with the husband she lost just two months ago, the rest of the BFFs try everything to cheer up their girlfriend by having all sorts of adventures, from smoking weed to doing TikToks.

Does The Fabulous Four have a trailer?
The upcoming comedy film's official trailer debuted during the 77th Tony Awards in June, giving viewers a sneak peek at the "riotous" dynamic between Sarandon, Mullally, Ralph and Midler.
The trailer kicks off with Marilyn ecstatic about the "old gang" coming "back together" for some girl time. It quickly transitions into a scene where Kitty is hard-selling the "near-religious experience" one can get from her gummies to Alice. Meanwhile, Lou enters the scene and is introduced as a loving cat mom who's "going to be left alone," according to Alice.
As they prepare for Marilyn's impending nuptials, including wedding dress shopping and going clubbing to celebrate the "bride," their shenanigans commence.
Catch The Fabulous Four showing in movie theaters starting next Friday, July 26, 2024.
