The Girl in the Pool: Full list of cast in the film

The Girl in the Pool got its theatrical release on July 26, 2024, and is finally available to stream on Apple TV+. Directed by Dakota Gorman, this independent crime thriller film challenges one to rethink if birthdays are that happy.

Gorman had previously co-written the story for the horror movie Aftermath (2021) along with its director, Peter Winther. She has also worked as an actor in crime thrillers such as Face Without Eyes (2015) and appeared in an episode of Criminal Minds in 2015. Gorman uses her experiences this time to craft a mystery around a dead girl in the pool.

Freddie Prince Jr., whom we have seen busting ghosts as Fred in the 2002 Scooby Doo movie, makes his return as a family man who is tangled in a web of crime. The movie also features a set of interesting casts, including Monica Potter, Kevin Pollak, and Crielle Barbusca.

Freddie Prinze Jr. plays the role of Tom in The Girl in the Pool. He is a middle-aged husband and a father who has kept an affair secret from his family. Soon, he outrun the lies when his mistress is found dead in the pool on his birthday.

Freddie is an American actor recognized for his appearance in I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997) and its sequel, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (1998). Freddie also played the role of Fred Jones in the live-action version of Scooby-Doo (2002) and its sequel, Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed (2004).

Monica Potter in the role of Tom's wife, Kristen. Monica has no idea that her husband has been having an affair with another woman. But on the day of Tom's birthday, she slowly starts to get suspicious that he is hiding something from her.

Potter is majorly recognized for her role as Jezzie Flannigan in the 2001 movie Along Came a Spider, starring alongside Morgan Freeman. He has also starred in films such as Patch Adams (1998), Head Over Heels (2001), and Con Air (1997).

Brielle Barbusca portrays Rose, the secret mistress who arrives at Tom's house on his birthday. Rose was having an extra-marital affair with Tom and sneaked in to wish Tom on his birthday. But the mystery behind her getting killed suddenly encircles the complete plot of the story.

Brielle is the daughter of Kim Zolciak-Biermann, the singer and television personality. She has made guest several guest appearances in TV series such as S.W.A.T (2017), Animal Kingdom (2016), American Housewife (2016), Kings of Con (2016) and Young Sheldon (2017).

4) Kevin Pollak as William

Kevin Pollak plays the role of Tom's father-in-law, who was invited to Tom's birthday party. He observes that something is off about Tom's. His suspicion deepens as the story progresses. He makes Tom confess about it in front of his daughter, but when he denies doing so, Tom delves into investigating the dark secret hidden behind it. Tom is hiding something from everyone.

Kevin is an American actor and comedian who mainly appeared in 1990s and early 2000s films. These include The Usual Suspects (1995), A Few Good Men (1992), Grumpier Old Men (1995) and Hostage (2005). He also had recurring appearances in the 2017 Amazon Prime period comedy series The Marvelous Mrs. Maise.
