The Lockdown is a combat action film surrounding the entire politics inside a prison that forces its inhabitants to fight against each other till death to win their freedom. The movie is directed by Ryan C Jaeger, who is known for his other works including Pleasant Canyon (2020) and Kung Fu Games (2024).
The plot of The Lockdown revolves around two siblings, Charlie and Jack, who are forced to be imprisoned in the most infamous prison in Myanmar. Even though they haven't actually committed any crime, they are forced to become a part of its gruesome form of entertainment. The prison broadcasts a combat show where the prisoners inside are made to fight against each other in the ring to win their freedom.

1) Michael Biehn as Max Hightower
In The Lockdown, Michael Biehn plays the role of Max Hightower, an experienced inmate of the prison who has a deep insight into its surrounding politics. Max trains Charlie and Jack to prepare them for survival in the prison and the deadly fight they must participate in.
Michael Biehn is an American actor who is most remembered for the roles played in science fiction and action films, mostly in the late 80s and 90s. Biehn is known for his role as Dwayne Hicks in the Aliens franchise and Kyle Reese in The Terminator franchise. He has also appeared in films including The Seventh Sign (1988), Tombstone (1993), and Navy SEALs (1990).
2) Caity Lotz as Charlie Hightower
Caity Lotz plays the role of Charlie, who, along with her sibling Jack, arrives at Myanmar's infamous prison. Due to a misunderstanding at the beginning, they are pursued by ruthless guards and eventually trapped. Even though they haven't committed any crime, they are imprisoned and must play through its dirty rules.
Caity Marie Lotz is an actor, singer, and dancer, who has appeared in numerous movies and television series. She is most popularly known for her role as Annie in The Pact (2013) and Stephenie Horton in the AMC series Mad Men. She has also appeared in Arrow (2012-2020), and DC's Legends of Tomorrow (2016-2022).
3) Leo Howard as Jack Hightower
Leo Howard plays the role of Jack, Charlie's sibling, who arrives at the prison in search of their father. The two are eventually trapped by the guards and are imprisoned without committing any crime. Jack and his sister have to find out how to make their escape, survive the attacks of the pitiless inmates, and learn to fight back.
Leo Howard received the Guinness World Record for being the youngest TV director at the age of 16. He directed an episode titled Fight at the Museum, in season 4 of Kickin' It, where he also played the role of Jack. Howard has also appeared in TV series including Why Women Kill (2019-2021), Freakish (2016-2017), and Legacies (2018-2022).
4) Hon Ping Tang as Warden Cetan
Hon Ping serves in the role of Warden Cetan, a cruel guard working in the prison. He has detailed knowledge of every misdeed that happens inside the prison and is a part of them. He forces the inmates to turn against each other, making them fight brutally in the ring, and they get more profit from broadcasting it.
Hon Ping is an English actor who is known for his works including The Fifth Element (1997), Out for a Kill (2003), and Brimstone (2016). Hon Ping also played the role of a prison guard in Spy Game (2001).
