Treehouse, starring J. Michael Trautmann, Dana Melanie, Daniel Fredrick, and Clint James, was released on DVD in the United Kingdom on October 20, 2014.
Written by Alex Child and Miles Harrington and directed by Michael Bartlett, the horror film chronicles the disappearance of the brother-sister duo Elisabeth and Bob. Additionally, the film also focuses on the ominous forces responsible for their disappearances, which may not be exactly what the audiences expect.
At the beginning of Treehouse, the audience gets a glimpse of Elisabeth's life, through an unfortunate incident as someone breaks into their house and kidnaps her brother Bob. Elisabeth, in an attempt to rescue her brother, chases the culprits into the woods but is forced to give up, after suffering a grave injury to her foot. As she fails to move anywhere, she is reported missing along with her brother Bob.
However, she is later located by Crawford and Killian who go out into the woods to meet their friends but end up in the wrong location. Crawford, excited after finding a treehouse in the woods urges Killian to climb up so that they can explore it. To their surprise, they find Elisabeth hiding there, injured.
After conversing with her, the two learn about the evil forces plaguing their small town. They also learn that these malicious forces are after Elisabeth's life.

Elisabeth was able to skillfully escape the malevolent forces in Treehouse
One of the initial characters to be introduced in the movie Treehouse, is Elisabeth. Set in a fictional town, Elisabeth returns home only to find out that their home has been broken into and her brother Bob is taken away. Confused about what should be done, Elisabeth decides to chase the assailants but loses them after she gets severely injured by stepping on broken glass.
As the plot of the movie thickens, the audience learns that Elisabeth, in an attempt to save herself from the perpetrators, climbed up a tree and took shelter inside a treehouse. This prevented them from finding her and kept her safe until she could find her brother.
Elisabeth's brother was unable to survive in Treehouse
Elisabeth learns towards the end of Treehouse, thay her brother, Bob, has been long killed by the perpetrators who are revealed as a trio of brothers with severe psychological issues.
When Killian and Elisabeth climb down the tree, follow the smoke, and reach an empty house, they find a dead body in the bedroom, later identified as the trio killers' mother. They also find a dead body which Killian recognises as his brother Crawford's. As the two try to look for ways to communicate with people outside, Elisabeth stumbles upon pictures of her dead brother's body with the perpetrators.

Elisabeth and Killian set out on a mission to exact their siblings' deaths
After Elisabeth and Killian find out about the shocking details behind their respective siblings' killings, they are filled with grief and anger. Almost instantly, they are interfered by the three killers responsible for the deaths.
They come in and attempt to kill Killian but Elisabeth stops them. However, she is tackled and knocked to the ground almost immediately. They then go on a search for Killian who ultimately ends up killing the middle brother of the three.
After Elisabeth and Killian reunite, they successfully kill the youngest brother with the help of a pistol they recover from the site of an accident that they caused. The man involved in the accident was a police officer carrying huge amounts of ammunition in his truck.
With only the eldest brother remaining to be killed, Elisabeth and Killian each pick up a rifle and go into the woods to kill the last remaining perpetrator of the trio.
