Inspired by the 'Good Luck Troll' dolls created by Danish woodworker Thomas Bam during times of financial distress post-World War II, Dreamworks Animation created Trolls Band Together, the third film in the Trolls franchise.
Trolls Band Together, following in the footsteps of its prequels Trolls and Trolls World Tour, featured multiple meticulously crafted songs in its popular soundtrack that elevated the overall experience of watching the film. NSYNC performed an original song, Better Place, for the film.
The film, directed by Walt Dohrn and Tim Heitz, features many of the same actors from the previous films, like Justin Timberlake, Anna Kendrick, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Icona Pop, Zooey Deschanel, Ron Funches, Kunal Nayyar, and Kenan Thompson.
Trolls Band Together also added new members to the voice cast, including Eric André, Kid Cudi, Daveed Diggs, Troye Sivan, Camila Cabello, Amy Schumer, Andrew Rannells, RuPaul, and Zosia Mamet.
