Netflix added Trouble to its list of action comedies on October 3, 2024. The film is a remake of the 1998 Swedish film of the same name. Directed by Jon Holmberg, the film stars Filip Berg, Amy Deasismont, and Eva Melander among others.

The movie's plot revolves around a salesman named Conny who is imprisoned for a crime he did not commit. The film follows his journey of establishing his innocence in order to get out of jail.

The synopsis of the film as per Netflix reads:

"Wrongfully convicted of murder, a clumsy electronics salesman faces police corruption and criminal conspiracies in an attempt to prove his innocence."

Swedish actor Filip Berg, 38 years old, has previously starred in movies and shows like The Ketchup Effect (2004), Eternal Summer (2015), Evil (2003), Black Lake (2016-present), and more.

Filip Berg stars as Conny in Trouble (2024) on Netflix. Conny is the protagonist of the film, a divorced dad who has custody of his daughter. Conny works at an electronics store in the film but aspires to be a pilot, just like his ex-wife Ayla’s husband. In the film, Conny gets arrested and is framed for murder falsely, however, he finds his get-out-of-jail card by using his tech skills at the end of the film.

Actress Amy Deasismont helms from Sweden. The 32-year-old actor is also a singer, screenwriter, and director. Previously, Amy has been a part of movies and shows like Sleep Around (2021), My Skinny Sister (2015), Lust (2022-present), and more.

In Trouble, Amy stars as a young detective named Diana, who helps Conny prove his innocence. Diana is unlike her fellow detectives who are corrupt and want Conny convicted for a murder that he hasn’t committed. However, Diana learns the truth and seeks justice for Connie throughout the film. By the end of the film, she also falls in love with Conny.

Eva Melander stars as Helena in Netflix's Trouble. Helena is a high-ranking detective in the film, who abuses her powers and gets an innocent man arrested. She is involved in the cocaine business and to cover up her crimes, she goes to extremes and even shoots herself. At the end of the film, she pays the price for all her sins and eventually gets arrested.
