Lee Issac Chung’s upcoming film Twisters is all set to hit the big screens on July 19, 2024. The film is based on characters by Michael Crichton and Annie Marie Martin. This upcoming American disaster movie is set in the same universe as the 1996 film Twister and will serve as its standalone sequel.
Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley are the film's producers, while Joseph Kosinski is the writer. The movie stars Daisy Edgar-Jones, Glen Powell, and Anthony Romos, among others.
The film's story revolves around the life of storm chaser Kate Cooper. She is still plagued by the horrific tornado experience she had as a child. To try out the new tracking technology, her friend Javi takes her back to the open plains. Soon, Cooper meets Tyler Owens, a well-known figure on social media who shares his storm-chasing adventures online.
