Under Paris: Full list of cast in the movie

Under Paris, directed by French filmmaker Xavier Gens, is a gripping thriller set during the summer of 2024 when Paris hosts the World Triathlon Championships on the Seine. Sophia, a brilliant scientist, discovers a large killer shark in the river, posing a significant threat to the swimmers competing in the event.

With the help of Mika, a young environmental activist, and Adil, the Seine River police commander, they embark on a mission to capture the deadly predator and prevent a catastrophe.

Under Paris stars Bérénice Bejo, Nassim Lyes, Léa Léviant, and José Antonio Pedrosa Moreno. Xavier Gens, known for his work on Lupin and Gangs of London, co-wrote the screenplay with Yaël Langmann, Yannick Dahan, and Maud Heywang.

Nassim Lyes as Adil

Nassim Lyes plays Adil, a Captain in the River Brigade. Nassim is a French actor of Algerian heritage celebrated for his dynamic roles in film and television. Recently starring in Xavier Gens' action thriller Farang (2023), Nassim's notable works include Olivier Marchal's Overdose (2022) and his screenplay En Passant Pécho (2021) for Netflix.

On TV, he shone in Gideon Raff's The Spy (2019) and will appear in HBO's Julia (2022). A former national kickboxing champion, Lyes captivates audiences with his charismatic presence in Netflix's thriller Under Paris.

Berenice Bejo as Sophia

Bérénice Bejo is the main protagonist in Under Paris and plays a marine biologist. Berenice is a French-Argentine actress most recognized for her parts in the films The Artist (2011) and A Knight's Tale (2001). She received a César Award for Best Actress and an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Peppy Miller in The Artist.
