Untamed Royals is a Mexican crime drama film that chronicles a group of rich teenagers, who increasingly commit crimes and get away with it. Those who aren't privileged or in positions of power often face the consequences of the reckless actions of these teenagers.

The film is set up like an investigative drama. As shown in the trailer, Xavier, played by Juan Pablo Fuentes Acevedo stages himself as a victim of violent crime with the help of a friend, played by Fernando Cattori. Renata Manterola started her career with the Mexican television series Any given day in 2016. She has worked on projects like 3 Families, I Am the Queen, and The Lord of the Skies, before landing her first Netflix gig in the erotic thriller Dark Desire, in which she played the character of Danna.
