Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl is a stop-motion animated film directed by Nick Park and Merlin Crossingham. The film's screenplay is written by Mark Burton from a story he co-wrote with Park. It is the sixth film in the Wallace & Gromit film series, which started in 1989 with short films, and is the second feature-length film after The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, released in October 2005.
Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl is produced by Aardman Animations and distributed by BBC in the United Kingdom and Netflix worldwide. The film's official logline, as per Netflix, reads:
"Top dog Gromit springs into action to save his master when Wallace's high-tech invention goes rogue and he's framed for a series of suspicious crimes."
Ben Whitehead leads the voice cast of Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl
1) Ben Whitehead as Wallace
Ben Whitehead voices the protagonist Wallace, an inventor living with his dog Gromit in Northern England. After his latest invention, a garden gnome named Norbot malfunctions, and he is forced to settle scores with an old nemesis.
Wallace was voiced by Peter Sallis in the 2005 film Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit. Ben voiced a different character named Mr. Leaching in the same film and took over the role of Wallace after Sallis's death in 2017.
Furthermore, Ben has lent his voice to films like Wallace & Gromit: A Matter of Loaf and Death, The Pirates! Band of Misfits, Early Man, etc. He also did voiceover work for the Australian series Berry Bees in 2019.
2) Peter Kay as Chief Inspector Mackintosh
Peter Kay voices Chief Inspector Albert Mackintosh, who is tasked with catching the criminal penguin, Feathers McGraw, following his escape from a zoo. He reprises his role from Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, where his character was a police constable.
Peter is a well-known comedian, actor, writer, and director who has starred in films like Blow Dry, 24 Hour Party People, and The League of Gentlemen's Apocalypse, among others. He has been featured in the mockumentary series That Peter Kay Thing. Moreover, Car Share, Cradle to Grave, and Phoenix Nights are some of the sitcoms he has worked on.
3) Lauren Patel as PC Mukherjee
Lauren Patel is the voice of Mackintosh's young deputy, PC Mukherjee. She relies on her gut instinct to help Mackintosh find Feathers McGraw.
The British actress played Pritti Pasha in the coming-of-age musical Everybody's Talking About Jamie in 2021. She also voiced the character of PB in the adventure family series Lloyd of the Flies in 2022 and Pea-Bean in Adventures of ArachnoFly in 2023.
4) Reece Shearsmith as Norbot
Reece Shearsmith is the voice of Norbot, a robotic garden gnome created to do all chores around the garden. However, he turns evil and puts Wallace and Gromit in harm's way after getting hacked by Feathers McGraw.
Reece's film credits include Saltburn, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Shaun of the Dead, and Burke and Hare, among others. He has worked in television shows like The League of Gentlemen, Good Omens, Chasing Shadows, Inside No. 9, Catterick, and BBC's comedy mystery series Psychoville.
5) Diane Morgan as Onya Doorstep
Diane Morgan is the voice of the news reporter Onya Doorstep, who interviews Wallace for Up North News in Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl.
The actress, comedian, and writer Diane Morgan is mostly recognized for playing the dim-witted and ill-informed interviewer Philomena Cunk in Charlie Brooker's Weekly Wipe, Cunk on Britain, and Cunk on Life.
Her comedic talent is best seen in shows like Mount Pleasant, Frayed, After Life, Mandy, and Motherland. She also starred alongside Ricky Gervais in the 2016 film David Brent: Life on the Road, based on the latter's character from The Office.
6) Adjoa Andoh as the Judge
Adjoa Andoh voices the Judge, who is seen during Feathers McGraw's sentencing in a flashback scene in Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl.
Her film credits include Invictus, Brotherhood, In the Dark Half, and Brad Anderson's psychological thriller Fractured. Moreover, she has acted in shows such as EastEnders, Casualty, Doctor Who, The Red King, The Witcher, etc.
Adjoa was recently seen as Lady Agatha Danbury in Netflix's period drama Bridgerton and its prequel spin-off series Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, which aired in 2023.
