The stop-motion animated film centers around Wallace and his dog Gormit, who face off against their old nemesis, Feathers McGraw, with help from Wallace's latest creation, a garden gnome named Norbot.

Merlin Crossingham, the film's co-director, told Radio Times magazine on December 10, 2024, that he wanted the film to "bring people" together during the holiday season. He elaborated on the reason behind releasing the film on Christmas Day by saying:
"There's something very special about everyone watching at the same time. As a nation we don't do that so much any more because of streaming and other reasons. But it would be a marvellous thing to achieve if we could bring people to a live broadcast and have that feeling of togetherness."
Moreover, audiences outside of the United Kingdom do not have to wait very long to enjoy the movie as it is set to drop on Netflix on Friday, January 3, 2025.
Plot summary
In Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl, the talented inventor Wallace creates a robotic garden gnome designed to help around the garden. However, it leads his canine companion, Gromit, to feel threatened by Norbot's closeness to Wallace.
Feathers McGraw, imprisoned for stealing the Blue Diamond, hacks Wallace's computer to reprogram Norbot into creating an army of gnomes for him. Escaping from the zoo, Feathers retrieves the hidden diamond from Wallace's teapot and flees in a narrowboat. Wallace, Gromit, Norbot, Chief Inspector Mackintosh, and PC Mukherjee pursue him.
Somehow, Feathers escapes their clutches and reaches Yorkshire only to find the precious diamond replaced by a turnip, to his utter dismay.
