War Dogs (2016) - Full list of cast in the movie

Todd Phillips' satiric take on Martin Scorsese's films, War Dogs, brings Jonah Hill and Miles Teller as the two white dude-bro arms dealers who conned their way to a $300 million contract from Pentagon to supply arms to American allies in Afghanistan.

The story is loosely based on the believe-it-or-not true story of David Packouz and Efraim Diveroli, set in a backdrop of the satirical presentation of criminality and excess similar to Scorsese's films Goodfellas and The Wolf of Wall Street.

The film's official logline, per Netflix, reads:

"A massage therapist gets in over his head when he partners with a charismatic childhood pal in the lucrative but shady business of global arms dealing."

The War Dogs cast also includes the Oscar-nominated Blonde star Ana de Armas, among others.

1) Miles Teller as David Packouz

Playing the emotionally troubled teen in the 2013 romantic drama The Spectacular Now gave Miles Teller his first big break. Whiplash, Fantastic Four, and Tom Cruise's Top Gun: Maverick are just a few to name. His acting credits also include The Divergent movie series Divergent, Insurgent, and Allegiant.

Teller plays the role of David Packouz in War Dogs, who is a massage therapist. Although he hates wars, he became an international arms dealer with his childhood friend.

2) Jonah Hill as Efraim Diveroli

Jonah Hill has over 60 acting credits. It includes playing Schmidt in 21 Jump Street and 22 Jump Street. Hill was also in The Wolf of Wall Street, Moneyball, and Django Unchained, as well as in animated hits like The Lego Movie 1 and 2 and How to Train Your Dragon 1, 2, and The Hidden World.

Hill plays Efraim Diveroli in War Dogs. He recruited his childhood friend, Packouz, to bid on US military contracts.

3) Ana de Armas as Iz

The Oscar-nominated Cuba-born actress has over 30 acting credits since she burst into the acting scene as Marie in the 2006 film Virgin Rose. She's been a classic Hollywood leading lady in No Time to Die alongside 007 star Daniel Craig, in the Ben Affleck-led crime mystery Deep Water, and Chris Evans's action comedy Ghosted.

She also took the lead as Norma Jeane, aka Marilyn Monroe, in Blonde, which earned her an Oscar nod.

In War Dogs, Ana de Armas plays the character Iz, who is David Packouz's girlfriend.

4) Bradley Cooper as Henry Girard

The American actor and filmmaker has been nominated for an Oscar a dozen times, four of which are for the Best Actor award. He's been part of several box-office hits like Wet Hot American Summer, Silver Linings Playbook, and Wedding Crashers. He was also in The Hangover series, and more recently in A Star Is Born.

He also voiced the iconic character of Rocket in all of the Guardians of the Galaxy movies as well as in Marvel movies where Rocket appeared.

Cooper plays Henry Girard in War Dogs, a character based on the well-connected Swiss arms dealer Heinrich Thomet.

5) Kevin Pollak as Ralph Slutsky

San Francisco-born impressionist and actor Kevin Pollak has over 150 acting credits in his belt. He rose to fame in the comedy scene before focusing on TV and films. His work spans genres, from comedies like Special Correspondents to dramas like The Magic of Belle Isle and The One I Wrote for You.

He also entered the horror crime scene in The Staircase Murders and Choose. He was also Moishe Maisel in the Primetime Emmy winner The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

In War Dogs, Kevil Pollak plays the character of Ralph Slutsky, who was based on the real-life machine-gun manufacturer Ralph Merrill who invested in Diveroli's company.
