Angelina Jolie and Brad Pit's adopted son, Pax Jolie-Pitt, was rushed to the hospital on July 29, 2024, after his electric bicycle smashed into a car on a busy street in L.A.
As per reports of law enforcement sources mentioned by TMZ, the 20-year-old son of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt was riding his bicycle on Los Feliz Blvd around 5 pm. His cycle rammed into the back of a car when he approached a red light at the intersection.
According to the publication, medics were afraid that Pax suffered a minor bleed in his brain during the accident. However, the latest news is that Pax Jolie-Pitt is stable and might be discharged from the hospital on July 30, 2024.
Pax Jolie-Pitt suffered from a head injury and hip pain following accident with a car in LA
Pax Jolie-Pitt is the fourth of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's six children. He was adopted in 2007 from an orphanage outside Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam at the age of three. Angelina Jolie shared Pax's journey of adapting to a new environment in an interview with MSN in 2007, wherein she described Pax as a "tough, remarkable little person."
As per reports by TMZ, after Pax Jolie-Pitt crashed into a car, the driver of the car immediately got out to check on him, after which the paramedics and police arrived at the scene to take Pax to the hospital. Pax wasn't wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, which is one of the reasons why he suffered a head injury and also suffered from hip pain.
Apart from the recent instance of the accident, Pax Jolie-Pitt made headlines in 2023 after a private post from his Instagram account was unearthed. In an Instagram post from 2020, Pax posted a sarcastic Father's Day wish, calling Brad Pitt a "world-class a**hole."
In the post, Pax called Brad Pitt a despicable and terrible person, stating the actor had no empathy or consideration toward his four youngest children who are fearful of Brad's presence.
Commenting on the impact of Angelia Jolie and Brad Pitt's divorce that took place in 2016, Pax mentioned in his Instagram post addressing Brad Pitt:
"You will never understand the damage you have done to my family because you are incapable of doing so. You have made the lives of those closest to me a constant hell. You may tell yourself and the world whatever you want, but the truth will come to light someday."
While Brad Pitt didn't comment on the same directly, an unnamed source close to Brad told The Sun that the actor has "great respect for all his children" and that it was depressing to see his adopted son drag his name like this.
Moreover, the source also stated that Pax painted Brad Pitt as a bad person, which is "far from the truth," and the actor chooses to be silent on the matter, showcasing dignity.
While multiple publications have tried reaching Angelina Jolie for comment on Pax getting injured in an accident, there has been no comment from the actress' end yet.
Just like his sister Vivienne Jolie-Pitt's cameo in Maleficient, Pax Jolie-Pitt has an uncredited role in the movie. He has also lent his voice to the character of Yoo in Kung Fu Panda 3.
