Sinqua Walls plays Jason Noble in Carry-On
Sinqua Walls is an American actor whose best-known roles are in Friday Night Lights (2006-2011), The Secret Life of The American Teenager (2008-2013), and Once Upon a Time (2011-2018).
Walls plays the role of Jason Noble in Carry-On, a fellow TSA agent to Ethan Kopek (Egerton). Jason Noble has minimal screen time in the film. Interestingly, he is a pivotal point in the story as he is the original target of the Traveler (Bateman). If not for a spur-of-the-moment decision, it might have been Noble rather than Kopek who was being coerced into aiding an act of terrorism.
Why is Jason Noble important in Carry-On?
Jason Noble, a father of twin toddlers, is a TSA officer at LAX. While meeting with supervisor Phil Sarkowski (Dean Norris) on Christmas Eve, he sees a desperate Ethan Kopek barging in and begging for a chance to prove himself. Noble sympathizes and offers him his own position as a baggage scanner for the day.
Meanwhile, Noble does a stellar job of handling the airport crowd by staying unnaturally high spirits. He pumps up everyone around him ahead of baggage check, which is no small feat, with tempers flying high at all times.
Noble briefly resumes his position at the baggage scanning lane when Kopek gets distracted by the Traveler. The Traveler eventually reveals to Kopek that his plan had initially revolved around Noble since he was usually stationed by the scanners. This spurs Kopek into action to protect his friend, and he proceeds to get Noble removed by lacing his coffee with alcohol.
Noble initially feels betrayed when he finds out Kopek had tampered with his cup, but eventually, it is implied that he forgives him as the events of the day unfold. The two friends are shown to be going on a holiday with their families at the movie's end.
Carry-On is now streaming on Netflix.
