The Dukes of Hazzard star John Schneider recently exchanged vows with Dee Dee Sorvino on July 23, 2024, in Las Vegas. The news comes almost a year after the death of his wife, Alicia Allain, in February 2023. Alicia was battling breast cancer for a long time, eventually leading to her demise.
Notably, Sorvino's ex-husband, Paul Sorvino, also passed away in 2022, and he was struggling with different health issues. Also known as Dee Dee Benkie, she is a popular face on radio and television and was a chairman of the Republican National Convention.

John Schneider and Dee Dee Sorvino plan to organize a wedding ceremony at the Hollywood Museum on August 1, 2024. The Smallville star even took to his Facebook page on July 25 to announce the news of his marriage. He added a selfie featuring Sorvino alongside him and wrote:
"Those of you who've been riding shotgun with me this last year and a half or so can understand that I never dreamed that happiness would be possible again. I'm here to tell you that you are stronger than you think!"
He added that he "never thought" he would get to laugh again, and now he is laughing "all the time." Alicia Allain and John Schneider's love story dates back to 2014 when they met each other for a film project, and the former divorced his second wife, Elvia "Elly" Castle, in 2013. Alicia opted for a white and sleeveless outfit for the wedding and John was seen in a tan suit. The ceremony was attended by family members and close friends.
While speaking to People magazine, John Schneider said he could not express his happiness, calling the wedding a "wonderful celebration." He continued:
