In an email to the Indystar, Bagans claimed that he and his crew had experienced a range of abnormal activities while investigating the place, including temporary and permanent health damage.
He also mentioned that he was compelled to make the decision to prevent any further damage to the crew, future inhabitants of the place, and the people residing in the surrounding regions.
