Where was Netflix Meet Me Next Christmas filmed? All filming locations explored

The Christmas comedy film, Meet Me Next Christmas, premiered on Netflix on November 6, 2024. It featured Christina Milian as Layla and Devale Ellis as Teddy, along with Kofi Siriboe and Tymika Tafari in the roles of James and Roxy, respectively.

The Cinespace Marine Terminal Studio which boasts of being the largest provider of production facilities in Ontario was a huge part of Netflix's Meet Me Next Christmas as well.

About the film

Meet Me Next Christmas chronicles Christina Milian's character, Layla who has a chance encounter with Kofi Siriboe's character, James after all the flights get cancelled. The two get chatty in the waiting area and immediately strike a connection. However, they need to go their separate ways. But before doing so, they decide that they will meet each other at the upcoming Pentatonix concert.

However, all hell breaks loose when Layla finds out that all the Pentatonix concert tickets are sold out. With no other options left, she seeks the help of a person named Teddy, portrayed by Devale Ellis, who works with ticket brokers.

The duo go on a hunt for tickets but continuously meet failure. However, along the way, they develop a very sweet bond, one that makes Layla question her feelings towards James.

As Layla finally reunites with James, as seen in the trailer for the film, she finds herself confused about her feelings, torn between her attraction to both James and Teddy. The official synopsis for the film highlights this aspect in a very brief manner. It reads:

"In pursuit of a fairytale romance, Layla (Christina Milian) must race through New York City with the help of a handsome and friendly ticket concierge (Devale Ellis) to get her hands on the hottest ticket in town: the sold out Pentatonix Christmas Eve Concert."
