One of the most common areas of interest has been the movie's filming locations. This is because Nutcrackers features several recognizable sites that audiences have picked up on while watching.
Most of these include popular locations in Ohio, such as the Janson Family Farm in Blanchester, Murphy Theater in Wilmington, Indian Hill in Cincinnati, and the Stricker's Grove Amusement Park in Ross. The film used several other popular locations to film as well; however, the audiences haven't been able to figure them out yet.
Filming locations for Nutcrackers
As previously mentioned, Nutcrackers has been primarily filmed in Ohio. Some of the sites that were used in the location were as follows:
1) The Janson Family Farm in Blanchester
Most of Nutcrackers' narrative takes place at the Janson Family Farm in Blanchester, which, in the film, is depicted as the home of Mike's sister. At the beginning of the film, Mike rushes to the exact location after learning of his sister's death. He is then tasked with looking after his sister's children, for which he must cohabit with them in the farmhouse.
The Jason Family Farm has a close connection to the film's actors, as the children portraying Mike's nephews are actual residents of the farm.

2) Murphy Theater in Wilmington
The film features a performance of the Nutcracker ballet, which takes place at the Murphy Theater in Wilmington. It makes use of the entire location to depict its interiors, including the main stage and the seating arrangements.
For those unaware, the Murphy Theater is a historic theater and is located at 50 West Main Street in Wilmington, Ohio. The theater has previously appeared in films such as Lost in Yonkers and Michael Moore in TrumpLand.
3) Indian Hill in Cincinnati
The movie sees Ben Stiller's Mike take his nephews to a party in a house situated in a very wealthy neighborhood sometime after they are placed under his guardianship. Things don't go exactly as planned; however, the location brings out some subtle changes in the characters and their relationships with one another.
The location in this circumstance is a big house situated on Indian Hill in Cincinnati. The property is typically available for rent and purchase and has been used in past projects as well.

4) The Stricker's Grove Amusement Park in Ross
The Sticker's Grove Amusement Park in Ross serves as the location for one of the funniest scenes in Nutcrackers. It is the place where Mike takes his nephews for a good time; however, things eventually end up turning haywire as the youngest of his nephews turns mischief maker.
For those unaware, The Stricker's Grove Amusement Park is a family-owned park that is usually made available for rent for hosting private functions.
