What happened in Olivia's Romeo & Juliet?

Olivia Hussey's Romeo & Juliet takes place in Verona, where the Montague and Capulet families are in a terrible conflict. This anger leads to a fight in the street, which the Prince breaks up and warns will have disastrous results if it happens again.

Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet meet at a masquerade ball that night and fall deeply in love. Even though their families are rivals, they get married secretly the next day with Friar Laurence's help. Things get worse when Romeo's cousin Tybalt challenges him to a duel. The fact that Romeo doesn't want to fight causes his friend Mercutio to die, who is killed by Tybalt. In response, Romeo kills Tybalt, which gets him kicked out of Verona.

At the same time, Juliet's parents set up her marriage to Count Paris. Juliet takes a potion that makes her look dead in order to avoid this. Romeo drinks poison because he thinks she is gone, and Juliet kills herself when she wakes up and finds Romeo dead. Their deaths make their families get along again.
