Zack and Tyler's journey starts right near these banks when they take up the boat on a revelatory journey. Throughout their travels along the riverbanks, they pass through small towns and countryside, meeting the people around.

This place has a stretch of open beaches, sunset points, and deep diving sites that make it a popular tourist destination. Tybee Island is one of the barrier islands located near Savannah, Georgia. It is known for its sandy beaches, that has a large fishing ground. Ayden serves as the wrestling school of Zak's inspiration, Salt Water Redneck. This is where they realize that the master has retired from wrestling, but together convince them to train Zak. Ayden is a town in Pitt Country that is known for its culinary delicacies, especially for the Eastern NC barbeque.

Parts of Wilmington have been shot in the movie, such as the gas station. The restaurant where Tyler meets Eleanor is also shot in Wilmington. This is a historical coastal town with a stretch of beaches and museums. This is a port city that lies near the Cape Fear River and has lines of galleries, local restaurants, and the Airlie Gardens.


What is The Peanut Butter Falcon about?

In The Peanut Butter Falcon, a young man named Zack is staying in a living facility meant for people with Down syndrome. But Zack wants more in his life than just being kept inside for his condition. He aspires to become a wrestler, like Salt Water Redneck. One night, he flees away from the prison with the help of his roommate.

He meets Tyler, a fisherman on the run, for burning the fishing gear of his rivals Duncan and Ratboy. Together, they sail on a journey to reach the wrestling school of Salt Water Redneck. Meanwhile, Eleanor, the caretaker of Zack in the facility, sets out to find Zack and bring him back safely. Tyler teaches Zack new skills like getting him in shape for wrestling and how to fire a shotgun.

Eleanor eventually finds Zack with Tyler. But when she realizes that her boss will now stuff Zack into a harsh prison-like facility, she decides to leave her job and travel along with them to the South. The Peanut Butter Falcon is one of the most heartfelt watches, exhibiting that sometimes the people we bond with in our journeys end up becoming our family.
