Lucy Shimmers and The Prince of Peace tells the story of Lucy Shimmers, a five-year-old girl, who has strong faith in Jesus and doing good for others. One night the Lord comes into her dreams and advises her to write a book that spreads love and peace among people.

She can still talk to her deceased grandpa Jackson, who she believes has now turned into an angel. With the advice of her grandpa, she sets on a journey to write a book that she names, Lucy Shimmers and The Prince of Peace.

It talks about spreading the word of god, to everyone without filters. Her little life takes a sad turn when one day she falls ill and is taken to the hospital. The doctors declare that she has pneumonia, which is slowly spreading around her body, eating the white blood cells.

However, that doesn't stop her from doing the divine work. In the hospital, she starts to spread her love to every sick soul, making them wish to live a better life.

Eventually, she meets a big bearded man named Edgar, who turns out to be a prisoner serving his imprisonment. He's taken to the hospital due to kidney failure and needs a doctor. Knowing that he has no one who will look after him, he counts his final days.

However, he finds a faint of hope. Edgar becomes "the sad man" in her book, with whom she strikes up a friendship. Soon Edgar realizes that there's more to life than just the gloom.

He decides to leave his past life behind and strives to be a better version of himself. Eventually, Lucy helps Edgar to reunite with his long-lost family. Lucy helps the sad man find his redemption.

However, there's more to the story to look forward before Lucy finishes the last page of her book. Lucy will melt your heart and bring tears to your eyes. It will make you believe that God indeed resides in children.

Who is in the cast of Lucy Shimmers and The Prince of Peace

Scarlett Diamond playing the character of Lucy steals the heart of the audience. Her innocent little initiatives allude to much deeper philosophies of life. Vincent Vargas plays the role of Edgar Ruiz, Lucy's sad man, who gets a rebirth.

Adam Hightower plays the role of Lucy's father, John Shimmers, while Florencia Contreras Stevens plays Lucy's mom Isabella Shimmers. Finally, Shawn Stevens becomes Lucy's angel grandfather, Jackson, whom only she can see, and serves as her medium towards reaching God.
