Spider-Man: No Way Home is the twenty-seventh film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that was released on December 17, 2021. Marvel Studios, in collaboration with Columbia Pictures, produced the third sequel to Tom Holland's Spider-Man franchise that was distributed by Sony.
Directed by Jon Watts, Spider-Man: No Way Home succeeded Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) and Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019), both of which were also directed by Watts.
The movie had a production budget of $200 million but went on to gross $1.923 billion, making it the highest-grossing film that year, along with an Oscar nomination. Spider-Man: No Way Home is available for streaming on Starz, Apple TV Plus, Netflix, and Hulu.
Erik Sommers and Chris McKenna built a storyline that connected Peter Holland's Spider-Man universe with the ones that Sam Raimi and Marc Webb had created, through its multiverse concept. Bringing the earlier two Spider-Man together, brought the old primary characters back.
This made the movie cast include Toby Maguire, Andrew Garfield, Alfred Molina, Jamie Foxx, and Willem Dafoe along with Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Benedict Cumberbatch, Marisa Tomei, Benedict Wong, and Jon Favreau among others.

What is the story of Spider-Man: No Way Home
The story begins after Mysterio is killed in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Right before his death, he told the work that Spider-Man is his murderer, and that Peter Parker is the Spider-Man. This makes the life of Peter very difficult to sustain, with the media and authorities, before not this him, but all his close ones.
Though the help of his lawyer, Matt Murdock (the Daredevil), helps him prove innocent, it leaves a very negative impression on his public image, making it difficult for him to get further with his studies. Peter, MJ, and Ned give their applications for MIT but are rejected. Peter realizes that his defamation is affecting the lives of everyone around him.
So he requests Dr. Strange to cast a spell, that makes everyone forget his true identity. After much hesitation, Strange agrees, going against Wong, but warns Peter that the spell is very dangerous, and can lead to grave fatalities.
Peter accepts it but right when Strange is midway into the spell, Peter tells him to stop, requesting that only his loved ones can remember him still. The spell is broken midway, opening portals across different universes, leading to different beings from parallel Earths, entering through the route.
The villains from Raimi and Webb's universe, enter into the Earth and now Peter must stop before it's too late, but this time, he is not alone. Spider-Man: No Way Home is a must-watch for every Spider-Man fan who has been following the friendly neighborhood character back from its first live adaptation of Spider-Man (2002). There are so many surprises for them in the movie.
