Former actor Christian Juttner unexpectedly passed away from natural causes at the age of 60, on November 29, 2024. While speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, dated January 15, 2025, Christian's daughter Aidan revealed that her father died at his residence in Yucca Valley, California.
While he was a part of various films and TV shows over the years, Christian gained recognition for playing Dazzler in Return from Witch Mountain, a 1978 science fiction adventure film produced by Walt Disney Productions. Notably, he made his debut with the NBC crime drama series Ironside in 1971.
Social media platforms flooded with tributes as soon as the news of Christian Juttner's demise went viral. Former actor and producer Ike Eisenmann also took to his Facebook page to express his grief, with a photo of his co-star from the 1978 film. He went on to praise Juttner's acting skills and described him as "one of the nicest people" he has ever met.
On the other hand, netizens posted their tributes in the comments section of Ike's post, with most of them recalling the late actor's work on various projects. The late actor was born in Pomona, California. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Christian's father John was the owner of a beauty salon, alongside having an art gallery and a glass business. Meanwhile, his mother Marlene got him interested in acting. The last show to feature Juttner as an actor was General Hospital, where he played Teddy in an episode in 1981.
Juttner is survived by his ex-wife Ann, children Aidan, Ryan, and Lucas, sister Shelley, and mother Marlene.

While most details about the California native's early life remain unknown, his mother Marlene was the one who made him develop an interest in acting. Apart from acting, he also worked in special effects makeup and completed his primary studies at the San Fernando Valley-based Birmingham High School.
As mentioned, Christian Juttner's acting debut happened in Ironside following which he was cast in many popular projects. He got his first television movie added to his credits, The Healers, back in 1974. The same year, he portrayed Leroy McClaren in Return of the Big Cat.
Christian Juttner was also seen as Teddy in four episodes of The Bionic Woman in 1976 followed by another television film two years later, The Million Dollar Dixie Deliverance, wherein he played Timmy.
He eventually accumulated a significant fanbase with his performance in Return from Witch Mountain. Christian's character Dazzler was a part of a group called 'The Earthquake Gang' in the film. The movie served as a follow-up to Escape to Witch Mountain and is currently available for streaming on Disney+.
Juttner was additionally known for playing Peter Plimpton in the historical comedy film I Wanna Hold Your Hand (1978). Helmed by the famous filmmaker Robert Zemeckis and executive-produced by Steven Spielberg, it failed to do well at the box office but received a positive response from critics and audiences.
Christian Juttner was further cast as Paul Durant in a natural horror film titled The Swarm. Released in 1978, it featured Juttner as a character dealing with hallucinations of being attacked by huge bees. Directed by Irwin Allen, the film was not well-received.
Christian appeared in many other projects, such as Wonder Woman, Medical Center, S.W.A.T., ABC Afterschool Special, Lou Grant, and more. As per Daily Mail on January 17, he launched a glassworks business in California after retiring from the entertainment industry.
