Actor Jerry Seinfeld recently spoke about how he misses the "dominant masculinity" of the 1960s. The actor is married to writer and social worker Jessica Seinfeld. Speaking on the Honestly with Bari Weiss podcast, Seinfeld revealed that there's no "sense of hierarchy" in today's society in the context of the setting of his upcoming film, Unfrosted, which is set in the 1960s.

The comedian mentioned that he understands the "toxic" argument associated with masculinity, but he still likes a "real man."

“When I was in that era, it was JFK, Muhammad Ali, Sean Connery, Howard Cosell. That’s a real man! I wanted to be like that someday. Well, no. I never really grew up. You don’t want to as a comedian because it’s a childish pursuit. I miss a dominant masculinity. I get the toxic thing… but still I like a real man," he said.
“We have no sense of hierarchy. As humans, we don’t really feel comfortable with that. That is part of what…if you want to talk about nostalgia, that is part of what makes [the 1960s] attractive looking back,” he continued.

According to People, Jerry and Jessica Seinfeld reportedly met in 1998 at a gym in New York City. The two got married a year later, in 1999, and have three children together, namely Sascha, Julian, and Shepherd.
