American comedy-drama television series Entourage premiered on HBO on July 18, 2004, and concluded on September 11, 2011, after eight successful seasons. The TV show, created by Doug Ellin, starred Kevin Connolly, Adrian Grenier, Kevin Dillon, Jerry Ferrara and Jeremy Piven.
The show also featured Perrey Reeves, Rex Lee, Debi Mazar, Rhys Coiro, Gary Cole, Emmanuelle Chriqui and Scott Caan in pivotal roles and also had several guest stars. Val Kilmer took on Sherpa's role in Entourage season 1. Disguised as a junkie, Kilmer was almost unrecognizable in his role.

Val Kilmer was born on December 31, 1959, in Los Angeles, California, U.S. He received his Bachelor in Fine Arts from Juilliard School, New York.
An out-and-out stage actor, Kilmer slowly started progressing into Hollywood in the late 1900s. Films like Top Secret! (1984), Real Genius (1985) and Top Gun (1986) helped Kilmer solidify his career in the industry at the beginning.

A film based on his life and his memoir titled Val was showcased at the Cannes Film Festival on July 7, 2021. It was later released in selective theatres in the United States on July 23, 2021, before premiering on Amazon Prime Video on August 6, 2021.
Since its release, Val has received acclaim from critics and the audience. The only project that was released after the release of this film starring Kilmer was Top Gun: Maverick on May 27, 2022.
