Deadpool & Wolverine has turned out to be the biggest blockbuster of this summer. The film has ruled the global box office for three weeks, making more than a billion dollars at the box office. This achievement has propelled it past Joker to become the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time.
The film features cameo appearances from several other MCU characters, including Elektra, Blade, X-23, Happy, and Gambit. However, one of the most talked about aspects of the film is the appearance of various Deadpool variants. From Nicepool to Headpool, all the variants successfully captivated the audience.
However, another variant of Deadpool, called Wolverinepool, was also supposed to feature in the film. Unfortunately, this character did not make it into the final version of Deadpool & Wolverine. Wolverinepool is formed through Wade Wilson's bond with Adamantium, through the same process that Wolverine went through.
Wolverinepool was introduced in the 2007 Cable & Deadpool comic and was one of the antagonists in the third issue of the 2013 Deadpool Kills Deadpool. Fans are hoping to see the character in future films of the franchise.
Wolverinepool featured in Deadpool kills Deadpool
Wolverinepool was introduced in Marvel's 2007 comic series Cable & Deadpool. This character is Wade Wilson, who is attached to Adamantium like Wolverine through the Weapons Plus Program, also called the Weapon X Program.
He is one of the antagonists of the 2013 comic Deadpool Kills Deadpool. He appears in the third issue of the comic. He becomes the partner of the antagonist clan with Dreadpool, Evil Deadpool, etc, and goes on a hunt to kill the other variants. He decapitated Deadpool Pulp and took a fight with Galactipool.
The variant has the powers and fierceness of Wolverine but lacks efficient healing powers, which is weaker than 616 Wolverine. Due to this weakness, he is killed by a bug grenade. Deadpool attacks him and throws a grenade at him. Hundreds of bugs come out of the grenade and eat his flesh, resulting in his death.
