Will You Marry Me is an Indonesian movie that premiered on July 19, 2016, in cinemas. Directed by Dedy Mercy, Will You Marry Me narrated a story with a proper blend of drama and romance.

Dedy Mercy is mostly known for his horror movies, like Teluh (2022), Jin Khodam (2023), Hagesu (2015), Palasik (2015), Hantu Merah Casablanca (2014), Sosok Ketiga (2023), etc.

In the aforementioned movie, Jenny Rose works as a singer in a small cafe in Bandung City. One day her partner Mike, introduces her to his childhood friend Rama.

Soon Jenny and Rama grow a close relationship with each other, which turns into love. But soon Rama has to go through an ultimate test for his love. His former lover Stefanie returns, he has to choose between the two and prove his loyalty.

Rose soon gets jealous about Rama's ex-lover coming back into his life, especially when Stefanie makes moves towards getting Rama back. Meanwhile, another surprise knocks at Rose when her ex-fiance Daniel returns to her life. Rose and Rama have to face their past again and find a way to keep their love alive.

Ferly Putra as Rama

Ferly Putra plays the role of Rama, the protagonist of the movie who falls in Rose after they meet in the cafe. After the arrival of his former lover, he has to fight for the legitimacy of his feelings.

Putra is an Indonesian actor, model and DJ, known for his role as Justin in the TV series, Go Go Girls (2011) and as David in Ganteng Ganteng Serigala (2014). He has also appeared in movies like Asian Brondong (2010), Tania (2014) and Kartu Pos Wini (2023).

Felicya Angelista as Rose

Feliya Angelista plays the role of Rose, a singer in a small cafe, who's her worker's childhood friend Rama. Soon their relationship faces a crack when Rose's ex-fiance returns to her life and tries to win her back.

Angelista is an Indonesian actress, singer and businesswoman. She's known for her roles in Love in Cardboard (2013), Kiko in the Deep Sea (2023) and Will You Marry Me (2016).

Whulandary Herman as Stefanie

Whulandary Herman plays the role of Rama's ex-lover Stefanie, who returns into his life and tries to get him back.

Herman is an Indonesian actress, model and television personality. She was crowned the 17th Puteri Indonesian Pageant in 2013 and represented Indonesia in Miss Universe 2013.

She has appeared in films like Hantu Kuburan Tua (2015), Bidadari Terakhir (2015) and Will You Marry Me (2016).

Mike Mohede as Mike

Mike makes a guest appearance in the movie as Rose's partner musician Mike. Rama is Mike's childhood friend who first introduces him to Rose. Mike is an Indonesian singer who was the winner of Indonesian Idol season 2.

At the age of 32, Mike died due to a heart attack on July 31, 2016, though.
