Plot of Wolf Man
Blake Lovell, a family man from San Francisco who lives in Wolf Man, has a bad temper and fights with his wife Charlotte, and daughter Ginger.
Blake decides to go back to the remote Oregon mountains where he grew up after getting the death certificate of his estranged father Grady, who went missing years ago. He takes a trip with his wife and daughter to try to get back on good terms with his family.
When a humanoid creature attacks them, their journey takes a dark turn. The creature hurts Blake and gives him a strange virus. Blake starts to go through some pretty scary physical and mental changes as he fights to keep his family safe from the werewolf.
He loses his teeth, grows claws and fangs, and fur grows all over his body. Blake realizes that he is turning into the same thing that attacked them as he struggles to stay in control.
Things get worse when Blake finds out that the werewolf that is threatening his family is his father, who was also infected years ago. Blake fights the monster to protect his wife and daughter. He kills it in the end, but he also changes even more. Blake gives up his life to save his family when he realizes he has become a threat to them.
The film ends tragically as Charlotte is forced to shoot Blake to protect their daughter. The family mourns his loss and walks out of the forest at sunrise.
Wolf Man is running in theatres now.
