Robyn Rihanna Fenty, or as the world knows her, RiRi, is a formidable force in music, apparel, and, as of late, all things beauty. She revealed her musical prowess to the world in 2003 when she debuted her studio album Music of the Sun. Since then, the Barbadian music titan has nabbed 184 accolades and over 470 nominations.

The last song she gifted her fans with was Lift Me Up, the lead single from the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack. The last album she released, however, was Anti in 2016. Fans have been waiting for her to drop her next album for so long, and it's a running gag on the internet.

Music is not the only thing she's famous for; the mom-of-two is an entrepreneur, a philanthropist, and a fashion icon. From serving looks repeatedly to releasing music that has had fans grooving for years, the actor-singer has made one thing known: there's nothing she can't do.

Based on Spotify streaming numbers, we've compiled a list of the top 10 songs to listen to before Rihanna releases her next album, R9.

This track soared in success globally, from Canada to Russia and 23 other countries, where it topped the charts.

Back in the US, the song fared just as well, having held the topmost position on the Billboard Hot 100 for seven weeks straight.

"No clouds in my stones / Let it rain, I hydroplane in the bank / Comin' down like Dow Jones / When the clouds come, we gone / We Roc-A-Fella / We fly higher than weather"

When Eminem and RiRi join forces, the whole world stops and listens. The two dropped this track in June 2010 to nod to their failed and unhealthy relationships. Eminem wrote the chorus and chose RiRi to voice it, resulting in a track that nabbed 5 Grammy nominations, the first spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for seven weeks straight, and gave Slim Shady his best-selling single.

"Just gonna stand there and watch me burn? / Well, that's all right because I like the way it hurts / Just gonna stand there and hear me cry? / Well, that's all right because I love the way you lie"

5) Love On The Brain

"I hope you know I'm for the takin' (uh) / You know this cookie's for the bakin' / Kitty, kitty, baby, give that thing some rest (you're the best) / 'Cause you done beat it like the '68 Jets (uh) / Diamonds ain't nothin' when I'm rockin' with ya"

Upon the release of her last album, Anti, in 2016, Rihanna opted for a hiatus from music altogether. Instead, the now mom-of-two has focused on her business empire, Fenty Beauty. She launched the game-changing brand in 2017, and it was lauded for its inclusivity, as it catered to the needs of all skin tones. It has been about eight years since the singer returned to the studio, and fans can only wait for more news on her upcoming album, R9.
