On December 18, 2024, TMZ posted a video of Cardi B getting into a fight with a fan. In the video, Cardi could be seen posing happily with a fan from her car when someone off-camera shouted "Imma show you how much I hate you." The statement led to a change in Cardi B's mood and she jumped out of the car to confront the person.
However, the Punteria rapper's security stepped in to stop the matter from escalating any further and Cardi got back into her car and left the scene. Netizens quickly took to X to comment on the incident wherein an X user condemned Cardi B's response by tweeting:
"38, bitter, and old"
"Still didn’t do nothing 🙄 I’m so tired of the pump faking with her," an X user commented on Cardi acting to hit someone.
"I'm not sure what happened but something happened," another X user mentioned.
"Ratchet is as ratchet does," an internet user stated.
"notice how they closed the door after she said sum. only way to stay relevant," another internet user said.
On the other hand, some netizens took Cardi's side and justified her reaction to the hateful comment:
"I don’t blame her cardi is literally so lovely to her fans clearly he spoke out of turn to her" an X user tweeted.
"Leave Cardi alone," a netizen mentioned.
"how ya’ll calling her bitter when someone was in her face talking about i’m going to show you how much i hate you?" another netizen commented.
"This was not what the live was about"- Cardi B defends her statement on men preferring less attractive women
According to a report by the Daily Post dated December 18, 2024, in a recent social media livestream, Cardi B talked about men preferring less attractive women. During the live stream, the Drip rapper said:
“Men prefer less attractive women because they are more submissive than perfect 10s.”
Following the livestream, X page @mymixtapez posted Cardi's statement and the Please Me rapper responded to the same by clarifying that the point of her livestream wasn't what the X page was trying to convey. Cardi mentioned in her tweet:
"This was not what the live was about ..This was about how man are intimidated of women that make their own Money cause their not as easy to control ..and how a man told me why he rather date 6 and not 10s…yall want to make it about ME so people can bully me"
Additionally, Cardi B also responded to a netizen asking her if she calls herself a "perfect 10" referring to the statement she made during her livestream. Cardi said that while she didn't call herself the perfect 10, she has a pretty frame, a pretty face, little feet, smells good, "never got a odor even when it’s that time of the month, got that grippy, street smart, a hustler, rich AF" and is a god fearing woman.
The WAP rapper added that she can upgrade a man's life and buy the life of the X user who asked her the question, calling herself a "perfect 10".
X page @FemceeTalk_ reposted TMZ's video showcasing Cardi B's altercation with a fan taking a dig at the rapper's class and Black ethnicity.
However, Cardi was quick to respond to the X page, questioning how she was supposed to act if someone threatened her by saying, "I'm going to show you how much I hate you." Cardi also called the page dumb for not knowing how to race bait.
