The singer-songwriter from St. Louis, Missouri won her fourth Recording Academy Award for Snooze as the Best R&B song, released in 2022 in the album SOS. She performed the same at the award function. She opened her act wearing a long black coat and hat, delivering a sultry rendition to her hit song.

This was followed by her vengeful song, Kill Bill, alongside dancers inspired by the Tarantino-esque costume and swords.

Jon Batiste performed his electrifying song, Freedom, and was also nominated for two awards in 2024. However, the most impressionable act was his tribute to Clarence Avant, and numerous other artists and executives while playing the piano.

As he sang the sombre words to Ain't No Sunshine by Bill Withers, a carousel of all the artists that were lost in the year shuffled in the background. Along with the five-time Grammy winner, Stevie Wonder, Lenny Kravitz and Annie Lennox also paid their tributes in a heartfelt performance.

Dua Lipa - Houdini

The British artist and two time Grammy Award winner took to stage in an aerobic performance while singing her high-energy song, Houdini. This was followed by a sneak peek into a new upcoming single, Training Season. She performed her singles alongside dancers, who propped her on a cubical cage.

In an interview with the BBC, she had said,

"The song is essentially about knowing when to stay and knowing when the right time to leave is."

Fake blood dripped down her face and in the background, and the crowd gave her a standing ovation for her performance. This year, Olivia has been nominated for Best Written Song in Visual Media.
