You Make It Easy came out in 2018, as the first single from Aldean's 2018 album Rearview Town. The chart-topper was written by Florida George Line members Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley, along with singer Morgan Wallen and record producer Jordan Schmidt. In conversation with Taste of Country, songwriter Wallen revealed that his co-writer Hubbard was inspired by his wife and how they navigate time apart with him on the road as an artist. This served as the inspiration behind writing You Make It Easy.

Soon after the track's release, it reached No. 26 on the US Billboard Country Airplay chart. Most notably, over 601,000 copies of the song were sold in the U.S. within one year of its debut alone.

Big Green Tractor was part of Jason Aldean's 2009 album Wide Open. It captures the heart of rural romance like no other. The song was an instant when it came out in 2009. It was written by Jim Collins and David Lee Murphy.

According to his website, in 2009, Aldean said about the song:

"There's nothin' more romantic than a tractor. If you live in South Georgia, a Saturday night out on the tractor with your girl is probably not that far-fetched of what could be considered a good 'date night.' The song seems to be connecting already, so maybe tractors have always been romantic, and everybody just needed reminding."

This romantic ballad peaked at No. 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and No. 1 on the US Hot Country Songs (Billboard). Roughstock Digital Sales also reported that by May 2012, the song sold about 2,028,00 in the Land of the Great.

Got What I Got is one of Jason Aldean's more recent hits. It came out in 2020 during the pandemic, with its message about love during uncertain times. Its lyrics quickly struck a chord with listeners and the song peaked at number 16 on the Billboard Hot 100. It was also featured on Rolling Stone's Top 100 at No. 23.

Got What I Got is the second single from Jason Aldean's ninth studio album titled 9. In a 2020 interview with Taste of Country, Jason Aldean said that Got What I Got is his wife Brittany Kerr's favorite song. He said:

"She's kind of a hip-hop fan, not a big fan of rock 'n roll, so she doesn't like We Back and The Same Way. Those kinds of things are not really her jam. Got What I Got is probably her favorite song on there."

Jason Aldean's success is undeniable, and no accident by all means. Whether it is a love ballad, a country rap anthem, or an ode to growing up in rural America, the man knows how to deliver a hit song. Even after 25 years in the music industry, Aldean has managed to consistently release new music, either in the form of full-fledged albums or singles.
