Ja Rule and 50 Cent's feud has witnessed a new development where the former addressed Cent in a tweet about a claim he made in the past. Cent's claim dates back to 2019 when he appeared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, saying that he had once purchased 200 tickets for a concert of Ja Rule, as per Global News.

Ja Rule, also known as Jeffrey Bruce Atkins Sr., denied 50 Cent's claims as he responded to a comment made below another post he shared on December 29, 2024. Ja wrote in the post:

"My new year resolution is to be petty."

A user responded by writing that Jeffrey needs to be "petty" with 50 Cent since the latter had purchased all his tickets so that his show runs empty. Jeffrey replied by saying:

"You believe this dumb sh*t??? Like I said before I got 10k for anyone who can produce this footage a photo sh*t what city/venue did this said show take place??? @50cent is a fat f*cking liar."

During his conversation with Andy Cohen, 50 Cent recalled that he allegedly bought the tickets for one of Jeffrey's shows scheduled in Arlington, Texas in 2018. According to Global News, the ticket sales were not up to the mark, leading to an exclusive Groupon sale where the prices were set at $15.

50 Cent then reportedly dropped $3,000 after bringing the tickets and even shared an Instagram post, which featured an edited picture of himself where he could be spotted in between a row of empty seats. Cent made similar claims while speaking on Big Boy's Neighborhood in December 2024, saying that the tickets were cheap and affordable. He further stated:

"I looked at it, I said, 'Yo, I just want you to feel like you gotta reach the people. They're like four, five rows back."

Ja Rule and 50 Cent's dispute started more than 20 years ago

According to XXL Magazine, the rappers' feud began back in 1999 when Jeffrey's chain was reportedly robbed by an associate of 50 Cent. Cent had then allegedly claimed that Ja Rule met him and his associate at a club, due to which they started having problems with each other.

Jeffrey later dismissed the claims, adding that Cent was having problems after he was snubbed by Murder Inc. while shooting for the song, Murda 4 Life.

The duo then had a physical altercation at a club in 2000, which started with a verbal dispute. On another occasion the same year, 50 Cent was stabbed after he fought for another time with Jeffrey and his crew at the New York City-based Hit Factory Studios.

Ja Rule and 50 Cent have also released several diss tracks targeted at each other over the years, including Back Down, Wanksta, and I Smell P*ssy. Jeffrey has addressed his beef with Cent during a few interviews, including Piers Morgan Uncensored, where he appeared in March 2024.

While Piers asked Jeffrey about who would emerge as the winner in his dispute with 50 Cent, Ja replied by saying:

"That's happened already, too, Piers. You gotta do your research. I did, Piers. Come on, man. It's a one-sided thing, Piers. You never see me say anything about him. I just mind my business, do my business and you know that because you see me at my place of business."

In an interview with The Shade Room in April 2023, Ja Rule said that these kinds of issues "can be mended," adding that he does not like to fight with Cent.
