50 Cent surprised the patrons of Sí Sí Mediterranean Restaurant in East Hampton by buying bottles of his Le Chemin du Roi for the Memorial Day crowd. The rapper, who was reportedly "in great spirits", made sure all glasses were topped up with his champagne throughout the evening.

The rapper performed at Surf Lodge in Montauk on May 25, 2024, for a guestlist consisting of A-listers like Millie Bobby Brown, Jake Bongiovi, Liev Schreiber, and Brooks Nader, to name a few. According to Paper Magazine, Fiddy's champagne also made an appearance at the performance. The rapper said:

“Every day is a celebration of life. I don't just save champagne for special occasions."

50 Cent kicked off Surf Lodge's summer-long musical program

50 Cent's surprise performance at Surf Lodge in the Hamptons was not just filled with the rapper's biggest hits but also contained bottles of his champagne. He highlighted what set Le Chemin du Roi apart from other champagnes, saying:

“Le Chemin du Roi is aged for 48 months on the lees in our cellar. This increases complexity while the flavors come together.”

The champagne is reportedly made with hand-harvested grapes from Champagne, France, and features a 14-karat rose gold-plated logo resembling a chess piece on each bottle.

The In Da Club rapper began the summer-long musical programs at Surf Lodge, which has previously hosted major artists like the Jonas Brothers, Solange Knowles, Halsey, John Legend, and Lauryn Hill, to name a few.

This year's lineup will include performances from musical acts like Beach Fossils, Sofi Tukker, Alesso, Diplo, Anderson Paak, SG Lewis, Zack Bia, and Disclosure.

According to Rolling Stone, the festival will officially begin with Guy Gerber kicking things off on May 31. The closing act is scheduled to be performed by James Hype on September 1, 2024.

50 Cent launched Le Chemin du Roi in August 2018

50 Cent became a part of the list of rappers with their champagne brands, joining the likes of Jay Z and Drake, in August 2018. He launched Le Chemin du Roi, which is translated to "The King's Highway" or "The King's Path" in English.

The champagne made its debut on Conan on August 21, 2018, as 50 Cent popped the cork of a bottle straight into the sky, causing the host Conan O'Brien to exclaim, "You just killed our lighting director!"

In an interview with Unfiltered in 2018, 50 Cent explained the reason for launching his champagne brand. He said:

“I only want to present the best. Partnering with Castelnau to create Le Chemin du Roi, which is a refined and special cuvée, allows me to offer this rare Champagne to the masses."

According to The Source, Le Chemin du Roi is bottled and prepared by Champagne Castelnau, with grapes harvested from the 900-hectare vineyard across Champagne, France. The drink is then aged for four years.

On February 26, 2023, a bottle of 50 Cent's Le Chemin du Roi was sold for $325,000 at an auction at the 2023 Rodeo Uncorked! international wine competition in Houston. The winning bid was presented by J. Alan Kent Development, a real estate firm.
