On September 5, 2024, Dame Dash took to Instagram Live to address 50 Cent's comments about him being broke. The co-founder of Roc-A-Fella Records recalled that while talking about his deal with Shady Records, 50 Cents mentioned at the Million Dollaz Worth Of Game podcast on September 3, 2024, that:

“The only person that pointed out a million dollars was no money was Damon Dash, and he has no money now,"

Damon responded to the same by stating that he owes $8 million in taxes currently to one state and that a million dollars won't help him. He mentioned that he "can't have no money" until he makes at least $16 million.

Just when Dame Dash stated he wanted to test if 50 Cent was the real deal, his grill flew out of his mouth. Taking it humorously, Damon posted the snippet on his Instagram account and stated:

“My diamond grills popped out because that’s what happens when you’re broke,”

The moment Damon's grill flew out of his mouth became the headline of his Instagram Live with internet users responding to the same. One of the fans took to the comment section of the Live Bitez page to suggest 50 Cents would enjoy the instance:

Dame Dash's Roc-A-Fella shares auctioned after losing $800k in court battle

According to court documents byTMZ in March 2022, the jury supported director Josh Webber and Muddy Water Pictures in their claim against Dame Dash for the feature film Dear Frank.

Damon was sued by the filmmakers of Dear Frank in 2019 for defamation and copyright infringement on the claims that he tried to advertise the movie as his own despite being dropped from the project. Additionally, the Roc-A-Fella co-founder also sent promotional materials of the film to outlets like BET by changing its title to The List.

On August 1, 2024, TMZ obtained new legal documents which stated that the U.S. Marshal would publicly auction Damon's 33.3 per cent interest in Roc-A-Fella on August 29, 2024. Bidders for Damon's share were required to register for the auction by sending an email to director Josh Webber's attorney Christopher Brown, who secured the $800K plus civil judgement against Dame Dash.

As per the court documents, Jay-Z's album Reasonable Doubt is Roc-A-Fella Records' biggest asset, and the aim of auctioning Damon's shares in the record label is to collect money in furtherance of the judgement. The publication also mentioned that the minimum bid for Damon's shares was set at not less than $1.2 million.

In other news, 50 Cent took to Instagram on September 6, 2024, to react to Dame Dash's grill falling off while talking about the raper. He shared a snippet of the same with the caption "Wow ya man teeth fell out his mouth LOL,".
