Set during a disaster in Los Angeles, she makes a memorable appearance at a house party where she slaps Michael Cera, who plays a rude version of himself. Rihanna was featured in an animated movie, named Home by DreamWorks animation production. In this film, she voiced the character of Tip Tip Tucci, who was on the hunt for her lost mother.

The movie revolves around an Alien named Oh, who had left his planet to live on Earth, where he made himself a human friend, Tip Tucci. Apart from the Don't Stop the Music singer, this movie featured Jennifer Lopez, Steve Martin, Jim Parsons, etc.

4) Valerian and the City of Thousands Planet

Based on the theme of science fiction, Valerian and the City of Thousands Planet was released in 2017, starring Dane DeHaan, Cara Delevigane, Clive Owen, etc. In this movie, Fenty Beauty's owner played the character of a shape-shifter alien, named Bubble.

She was the stripper and helped Valerian escape, where she was spotted wearing a gorgeous bodysuit. For this particular role, Luc Besson imagined the singer and songwriter for this role and he told to Yahoo Movies,

"When I wrote the character, I was inspired by her. For me, Rihanna is Bubble and Bubble is Rihanna.”

He further said,

"Bubble always died [in the script]; she’s the ultimate artist, and as the ultimate artist, she has to die on stage.”

5) Battleship

Written by Jon Hoeber and Eric Hoeber, Battleship is another movie where the 36-year-old singer was featured. Released in 2017, the movie is based on Hasbro board games where Fenty's owner played the role of petty officer Cora-Raiks.

In an article, published in 2012 by GQ, the filmmaker Peter Berg explained his thoughts before casting her in this movie. He was amazed by Rihanna's intelligence and instant humor while noting,

"I remember thinking, "Wow. There's much more to this woman than I'd thought."

In this movie, the Barbados-born singer made her acting debut and to bring perfection, she blurred her boundaries with a lot of hard work and learning. Regarding her role as the fighter officer, she told Essence,

"This one man, Donald, he pretty much drilled me, yelled at me, cursed me, made me do pushups. I really wanted to say, ‘Fu*k you’ right back, but then he probably would have thrown me through the window!”

In Ocean's 8, Sandra Bullock’s character, Debbie Ocean, devises a heist plan and recruits eight members, including Rihanna. Rihanna plays Nine Ball, a computer hacker and skilled pickpocket, sporting long locks to match her role. The movie is available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

7) Guava Island

Guava Island is a film by Donald Glover, the winner of a Grammy for Childish Gambino and an Emmy for Atlanta, released in 2019. The movie came out without much announcement except a small teaser of Glover and Rihanna dancing at the beach with drum beats.

Guava Island is a short film of 55 minutes, blending socio-politics with art. In this movie, Rihanna acted as the girlfriend of Deni Maroon, a singer who wanted to flee with his girlfriend.

Despite being themed on music, the viewers can not see her singing in this movie while Deni plays his guitar often. The movie is streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
