Benny proposed on a romantic picnic while enjoying some Taco Bell Mexican pizzas.
"Forever begins now," Selena captioned a photo carousel on December 12, showcasing her ring.
To which Benny commented:

Through a series of Instagram photos of the proposal, the Vampire Diaries star shared the big life update of her engagement with Shaun White, former snowboarder and skateboarder, in October 2024.
Nina Dobrev wrote, "RIP boyfriend, hello fiancé 💍♾️," as the caption for the photos where they both wore full black outfits, surrounded by white candles and white flowers arranged in an arch, with petals scattered on the floor.
They are said to have met through mutual friends and also had a brief encounter at an awards show in 2012. They have been dating officially since 2020.

In recent years, singer-songwriter Halsey has gone through a lot in her life—health struggles, failed relationships with stars like Yungblud and G-Eazy, and taking time away from the limelight to treat her illness.
But through all of this, she met someone who has been there for her, as she shared on the Call Her Daddy podcast with Alex Cooper. Halsey separated from her estranged husband Alev Aydin, with whom she has a young boy named Ender, before she started dating Jogia.

The couple is known to have first started dating in 2021.
