Amidst the infamous arrest of hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs, an old video resurfaced of Travis Scott humorously running away from the executive after an alleged innuendo, and the internet had a lot to say. The clip showcased Diddy in a blue jacket and shorts hanging out with Scott, who sported a light green outfit.
It is unclear as to the exact date the original video clip was uploaded online. In the viral video, Puff Daddy threw his arms around Travis and called him his "baby bro". The record executive hyped up Scott by saying that it was time, before asking him what he was going to "do to that thing".
At this point in the clip, Travis Scott nervously rubbed his face, stepped back, and asked Diddy to shush. Once the Coming Home hitmaker noted that "they" better tune in, Scott immediately took off clutching what looked like his back pocket and screaming all the way.
In the context of all the controversy currently surrounding Diddy, the viral clip appeared suspicious to many social media users. One X (formerly known as Twitter) user who went by @merkgems, noted:
"He look guilty asf all that looking down avoiding eye contact😂😂😭"
Similar reactions followed as X users claimed that this was a cry for help from Travis Scott. The fact that Scott didn't even look up to the camera rattled a few social media users. Here are a few X reactions to Travis Scott running away from Puff Daddy:
Knowing the allegations Puff Daddy was facing now, many social media users thought that the record producer asking Travis what he was going to do with "that thing" was a crazy innuendo.
P. Diddy allegedly hosted "Freak Offs"
Sean "Diddy" Combs was arrested on Monday night, September 16, while at a hotel in New York City. The disgraced hip-hop mogul, who previously faced a plethora of SA and misconduct lawsuits was charged with racketeering, s*x trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
Combs pled not guilty to the three federal charges against him. Although he was ready to offer a $50 million bond, the following day at a hearing in Manhattan, he was denied bail and continues to remain in custody at the time of writing this article.
Among the plethora of drugs, guns, and ammo seized from a raid on Combs' homes, police also found a giant collection of baby oil and lubricant. According to a federal indictment against Diddy, filed on September 12, the record producer allegedly hosted what he called "Freak Offs".
"Freak Offs" were alleged s*x parties where Puff Daddy allegedly coerced and drugged his victims to perform extended s*xual acts with male s*x workers. A prosecution memo aimed at denying Combs bail read:
"The defendant arranged Freak Offs with the assistance of members and associates of the Enterprise, including employees of his business, and the hotel rooms where they were staged often sustained significant damages."
As mentioned earlier, at the time of writing this article Combs is still behind bars and might face up to 15 years to life behind bars if convicted of all charges.
