Anyma Sphere headlining concert details

Anyma Sphere's headlining concert will see the DJ bring a conceptual concert titled 'The End of Genesys.' The concert will be an audio-visual experience that has been part of the previous Genesys concerts. The Sphere concert will feature Alessio De Vecchi, Tobias Gremmler, and Alexander Wessely, among others.

Anyma is set to be the fifth artist to perform at the venue, after the already wrapped residencies of U2 and Phish and the upcoming ones by Dead & Company and Eagles.

The DJ will perform music from his Genesys project, which will encompass two studio albums. Genesys was released on August 11, 2023, through Interscope and Afterlife. The album explores the story of the humanoid robot EVA, the same one featured in the concert announcement. The album peaked within the top 10 of the Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums chart.

Anyma released his second studio album, Genesys II, on March 29, 2024. The album continued the DJ's exploration of the Genesys concept, and the story of EVA started in the first album.

The DJ elaborated on his creative process and the conceptual link between humanity and AI that informs his work in an exclusive interview with Vogue published on April 11, 2024, stating in response to a question as to why the convergence between humans and machines inspires him:

"The visuals with humanoids or cyborgs depict my vision of a utopian future in which technology, nature, and humanity will have reached a balance rather than rival each other."

The DJ continued:

"I firmly believe that without humans, technology will never be able to function fully, and vice versa. Both universes, humanity, and technology, are complementary to each other and cannot live separately."

The singer later added in the same interview:

"I’m intrigued by the evolving landscape of AI and emerging technologies. This interest includes exploring generative AI models that can compose music or create unique soundscapes, offering a new avenue for creative expression."

The singer finished by saying:

"Additionally, the integration of AI with virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technologies presents exciting opportunities for immersive musical experiences."

Aside from his two studio albums as part of the Genesys project, Anyma has also released three EPs throughout his career. All three EPs, Claire, Sentient, and Forevermore, were released in 2021. The EPs' chart figures are not available at the time of this article's writing.
