Bebe Rexha kicked out an audience member from her concert in Norway for trying to throw things at her. The internet applauded her action. During the incident, which took place over the weekend, the 34-year-old singer angrily pointed at the person while wearing combat boots and an all-black bodysuit.
She paused mid-performance after being interrupted by the perpetrator and directly told the person how she felt. The singer pointed at the man and asked him to "get the f**k out". The concert was "done" for him. The man was escorted away by security as audience members cheered and flashed the middle finger at him.
Before starting her song from the top, Bebe Rexha shouted:
"If you hit me with something on stage i'll take you for everything you've f**king done. Do not f**king play with me right now."
Social media users applauded Bebe Rexha for acting the way she did and taking care of the problem. People could not understand why some audience members seemed to be obsessed with throwing things at the singer and any stage performer in general.
A lot of netizens thought that more artists should "humiliate" people who throw items at them as Rexha did. Netizens just wanted people to leave the Me, Myself & I singer alone.
Here are a few X reactions to the incident:
"people seriously need to leave her alone. she doesn’t do anything wrong to warrant the things she faces.", said one X user.
"as she should. this behavior of throwing things at artists on stage needs to stop. it’s very irritating", applauded another user.
"good, they need to start shaming and booting these people because it’s becoming a trend", added a third user.
"Awww she’s so nice She’s better than me The moment something’s thrown on stage I’d say into the mic “FOR everyone that smacks the f**k out of whoever threw that, you CAN come up here on stage with me to dance with me” lmao", noted a fourth X user.
Some people felt like Bebe Rexha was an artist who constantly got things thrown at her during concerts.
"can people just leave her alone already😭", requested one fan.
"I swear she’s the only one who always gets things thrown at her 😭😭😭 idk why", wondered another user.
"why is everyone mean to her? she literally did nothing wrong", thought one X user.
"Why do ppl wanna do that kind of s**t? What has she ever done but deliver us amazing songs? Those kind of Ppl need to chill.", wondered yet another user.
Bebe Rexha was hit in the face with a cell phone back in 2023
Unfortunately, this was not the first time that the I'm Good (Blue) singer had to deal with people throwing stuff at her while performing on stage. Back in June of last year, Rexha was performing at a concert in The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York City when she was pelted in the face with a cell phone.
Videos posted on the internet at the time showcased the singer, clad in pink, falling to her knees clutching her face after an audience member's cell phone struck her close to the eye. Stagehand quickly rushed to assist the singer in distress. The singer had to get stitches and later took to post pictures of her injured face and cheekily captioned her post:
"I'm good."
The perpetrator, 27-year-old Nicolas Malvagna was arrested by the New York Police Department and was charged with a felony.
