Beyoncé's husband and rapper, Jay-Z, first connected with Kanye West when the latter started working as a music producer for Jay-Z's Roc-A-Fella Records. Kanye was slowly promoted from a producer to an independent artist who often collaborated with Jay-Z.
However, their relationship turned sour with time because of controversial comments, political tensions, and other external factors.
Despite adversities, Beyoncé and Jay-Z vs exes Kim Kardashian and Kanye West reportedly forgot their differences. It was even more evident when Jay-Z was featured in Kanye's 2021 album titled Donda. Meanwhile, Queen Bey sent a collection of her Ivy Park attires to Kim Kardashian after the brand's launch in 2020.

September 2009: Kanye's famous 'I'mma let you finish' speech at the MTV VMAs
During the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, Kanye West interrupted Taylor Swift's speech when she received the honor for You Belong With Me. She won over Beyoncé, who was also nominated for the same award.
While accepting the award, Kanye grabbed the mic and commented that Queen Bey had the best music video that year. Needless to say, his words were met with resounding 'boos' from the audience.
"Yo, Taylor, I'm really happy for you. Imma let you finish, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time! One of the best videos of all time!" Kanye West exclaimed.
However, Beyoncé made amends for the same and called Taylor on-stage to finish her acceptance speech when she won the VMA trophy for Video of the Year for Single Ladies later that night.

Despite many celebrities coming in support of the television star, Beyoncé and Jay-Z didn't have anything to say about the debacle. Kanye West lamented about the perceived insensitivity during a show in Seattle on November 19, 2016.
“Don’t call me, after the robbery, and say ‘How you feelin’?’ You wanna know how I’m feeling? Come by the house,” Kanye complained at his Seattle concert.
The same year, Kanye went on his Saint Pablo Tour in Sacramento in November 2016. The rapper claimed that Queen Bey stopped him from being awarded Video of the Year at the MTV VMAs for his work in Hotline Bling and Famous:
“Don’t call me, after the robbery, and say ‘How you feelin’?’ You wanna know how I’m feeling? Come by the house,” Ye complained during his tour.
The rapper concluded:
"Being perfect don’t always change sh*t, bro! I was hurt, Beyoncé! I was hurt!"
