Taylor Swift joined by Ed Sheeran and others at Wembley stadium

Taylor Swift was joined by several acts during the concerts at Wembley Stadium from August 15, 2024, to August 20, 2024. Alongside regular openers Paramore, the event also featured Raye, Suki Waterhouse, Holly Humberstone, Sofia Isella, and Maisie Peters, among others.

Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran performed together on August 15, 2024, with the former stating in her introduction of the latter:

"This is one of my best friends in the world to the point where I feel like he’s a second brother of mine... We toured together on the Red Tour. Every time I am doing the Red part of this show, I think about the memories that we’ve made."

Taylor Swift continued:

"And now he is someone who plays Wembley like, every week. This is like, regular for him. And he works so hard, and he’s on tour right now and he’s probably so tired. But he wanted to come and play for you and do this for all of us so give it up for Ed Sheeran."

Suki Waterhouse opened up about her own Eras Tour experience in a post-performance Instagram post on August 18, 2024, stating:

"The last time I was at Wembley I was dancing my a**foff at the Reputation tour! Never did I think the next time I’d be here would be opening for my favourite artist with my friends and family in the crow."

The singer continued:

"Thank you @taylorswift for this once in a lifetime opportunity to perform in my beloved London and for the unwavering support in my own journey as an artist. You are the world’s biggest and brightest star, I love you so much."

Taylor Swift now takes a hiatus before returning to North America to finish the last leg of the Eras Tour. The singer is set to wrap up the two-year-long tour at a time when it is considered a financial and concert success story, with over $10 billion in economic contributions across the globe and a gross revenue higher than $1 billion.

The average crowd of an Eras Tour stadium show is estimated to be over 50,000, not counting those who may watch the show from the neighboring areas. The ticket sales broke multiple records, with recorded ticket sales at 2.4 million on the first day of the US presale alone.
