Shortly after Florida authorities announced the arrests of four suspects in rapper Foolio's murder, one of the suspects, Rashad Murphy, remained at large. On July 30, 2024, Rashad was arrested after an hours-long standoff negotiating his surrender.
Video footage of the negotiation by the SWAT team showcases Rashad Murphy holding his pet dog in one hand and a gun in the other before he began crawling toward the authorities.
Since the video went viral on social media platforms, internet users reacted to the same, wherein one of the fans tweeted:

One internet user also referred to the fact that Rashad Murphy was Facetiming his girlfriend hours before he surrendered and tweeted:
"Lol he can kiss his girlfriend goodbye."
"Everybody love bein gangsta until its time to go to jail," an X user tweeted.
"I love this, you wanna cry now but want to play call of duty in the streets. You want to pick up a gun so bad? Join the military. Have fun living your life in one location for the rest of your life," an X user commented on the fact that Rashad got emotional during his arrest after committing Foolio's murder.
"When a mf crying getting arrested, you know he telling on everybody an there mothers," another X user joked.
"He came out with that dog because he know they wouldn't shoot him with that dog," an internet user tweeted.
Fifth suspect in Foolio's murder still remains at large
According to the Tampa Bay Times, U.S. marshals and deputies tracked Rashad, one of the prime suspects in Foolio's murder, to a location in an apartment complex on Collins Road in Jacksonville on July 29, 2024. The sheriff's office announced the same next morning via Facebook.
While the authorities arrived at the location after 9 p.m., the negotiation took place for about three hours, after which a SWAT team breached Rashad's apartment window to arrest him. Footage of the arrest shared on social media platforms showcases Rashad Murphy putting a gun to his head before he decided to surrender.
According to the police statement given to the Tampa Bay Times, the fifth person charged with killing the rapper, Davion Murphy, still remains at large. Davion is Rashad Murphy's cousin, and the police believe he is hiding somewhere in the Jacksonville area.
Tampa Bay Times also mentioned that Rashad Murphy and Davion Murphy are documented members of Jacksonville gang Ace's Top Killers, which has a long-standing rivalry with the Six Block Gang, of which late rapper Foolio was a member.
Beatbox Remix rapper Foolio was shot and killed on June 23, 2024, at a hotel in uptown Tampa. On arriving at the crime scene, police found two vehicles that had been shot at in the parking lot and three other victims who were being treated for injuries.
On July 29, 2024, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office announced via X that the sheriff's office and Tampa Police had arrested three people in connection with Foolio's murder. In addition to Sean Gathright, Alicia Andrews, and Isaiah Chance Jr. getting arrested, Rashad Murphy recently surrendered himself.
