"Bro just wanted to finally get away from Rock" — Internet reacts to Blueface saying his prison term is "like a little break from responsibility"

Bleed It rapper Blueface recently joined the Effective Immediately podcast via a call in from the Men's Central Jail in Los Angeles on August 19, 2024, wherein he talked about his current four-year sentence due to a probation violation.

Talking to podcast hosts Gina and DJ Hed, the rapper told them that he is chilling. He also stated:

"I’m in my environment...It’s like a little break from responsibility...I cut all my hair off I'm about to get the weight cracking,"

The rapper mentioned that he is 180 right now and he hasn't reached that weight before calling it getting "sized up". He said that he is about to "bounce out looking like a dalmatian.”

Blueface's statement on getting a break from responsibility caught onto internet users who were quick to address the same via X (formerly Twitter). One of the X users alleged that the rapper's statement hinted at getting time off his girlfriend Chrisean Rock and tweeted:

Moreover, an internet user also acknowledged Blueface's honesty and tweeted:

"If more people were honest about why they keep going in and out you would hear this way more often."

"I’ve been watchin a lot of the news": Blueface talks about his daily routine in prison

During the Effective Immediately podcast, Blueface talked about the length of his prison sentence stating he got sentenced to four years with a year cred which "goes down to three years" and that he has to do 33 percent of the same.

On being asked how he passes his time in prison, the rapper stated that he watches TV, consumes Doritos, and uses the phone, he also mentioned:

“That’s pretty much it […] They only got like 12 channels. I’ve been watchin a lot of the news, the Sherri show and The Jennifer Hudson Show.”

Moreover, Blueface was also asked about his girlfriend Chrisean Rock who is currently facing eight years of prison time in Vinita owing to drug-related charges. The rapper mentioned that the duo stays on the three-way and that he just off on a call with Chrisean. He said that she is doing alright and might be out sooner than him.

Commenting on his son Chrisean Jr, the rapper shared that he hasn't seen his child since he went to prison. He talked about when he would get to see Chrisean Jr next and told the podcast:

"Not as of now because [Chrisean's] incarcerated. Hopefully, when she gets out she'll come bring him up here or what not."

The Respect My Crippin' rapper has been in prison since his arrest in January 2024 on charges of violating the terms of his probation from his case of alleged assault on a bouncer in 2021 at a Las Vegas strip. While the rapper avoided prison after being granted a suspended sentence, a judge ruled in January 2024 that the rapper being reportedly caught with a drug called paraphernalia would amount to violation of his probation.
