On October 28, 2024, Tyler, the Creator dropped his latest album, Chromakopia, containing 14 tracks. While the album has just been released, it has made headlines for its second track, Rah Tah Tah. In one of the verses of the song, Tyler references Kendrick Lamar.

Tyler, the Creator started teasing his album Chromakopia early in October 2024, releasing the opening track St. Chroma and the single Noid before dropping the album. The American rapper took to X on October 26, 2024, to announce:
"CHROMAKOPIA COMES OUT MONDAY MORNING AT 6AM EST. YOU CAN LISTEN TO IT WHEN YOU WAKE UP, YOU DONT HAVE TO DEPRIVE YOURSELF OF SLEEP FOR SOMETHING THAT IS GOING TO BE THERE WHEN YOU WAKE UP*"
Before announcing the release date of his seventh album, the rapper tweeted on October 24, 2024, that he would be playing his whole Chromakopia album at the Intuit Dome in California on October 27, 2024.
As per a report by Vulture dated October 25, 2024, the Chromakopia album credits feature Thundercat for Noid with Willow on backing vocals and The Bear fame Ayo Edebiri making an appearance in the video. Additionally, R&B singer Daniel Caesar is the mystery vocalist on the track St. Chroma, as revealed via his Instagram story.
In other news, Tyler, the Creator made headlines on October 6, 2024, by dissing Elon Musk during the Austin City Limits Festival. While the reason for Tyler's remarks remains unclear, he changed the lyrics to his track 911/Mr. Lonely from "shout out to Elon Musk" to "f*ck Elon."
Previously, Tyler praised Elon Musk in a tweet on June 16, 2016, wherein he suggested Musk should pursue any ideas he has regardless of what others say, giving the Tesla CEO a shoutout in the tweet. Tyler, the Creator's tweet was met with a "Thanks" by Elon Musk.
