Ariana Grande has always gravitated towards music. Ever since she started working as an actress, Grande has been vocal about wanting to make music. She had covered several Mariah Carey, Adele, and Whitney Houston songs on YouTube before uploading her own songs.

Beyond acting and music, Ari also has another skill that has been renowned in the industry - mimicking others. The Positions singer has demonstrated her skills on various occasions on entertainment shows, with her impressions of famous celebrities gaining views of millions on YouTube.

In September 2015, Ariana Grande appeared as a guest on Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight Show, where the singer-songwriter played Wheel of Musical Impressions with Fallon. Both did the impressions of singers by singing one song selected by the musical impressions generator on the show.

The first impression Grande had to do was of Britney Spears on the song Mary Had a Little Lamb; the 7 Rings singer did the first couple of lines from the song before saying "that's enough."

In the second round, Ari received a Christina Aguilera impression on The Wheels On The Bus. This impression was much longer and more elaborate, with the two-time Grammy winner hitting all the right high notes in Aguilera's voice. Fallon, who was thoroughly impressed by the impression, said:

"That was unbelievable! Wow, I want that recording."

The third and final impression Ariana Grande did was of Celine Dion in Can't Feel My Face. The NASA singer modulated her voice before starting the song and was joined by Jimmy midway.

Fallon, for his part, did the impressions of Aaron Neville in Cheerleader, and Sting's Can't Feel My Face.

The video of the game, which was later uploaded on The Tonight Show's YouTube channel, went viral soon afterward, amassing over 172 million views and 2.1 million likes.

A year after her impressions on Fallon's show, Ariana Grande was invited to do a Tidal skit on SNL in March 2016. In the skit, Grande was playing Chloe, the intern.

As the power goes off in the department she works in and their subscription service is about to lose music, Chloe saves the day through her musical impersonations of Britney Spears, Shakira, Rihanna, Celine Dion, and Whitney Houston.

The Yes, And? singer also appeared on an episode of SNL's 2016 Celebrity Family Feud, where she appeared as Jennifer Lawrence in her signature shoulder-length hair and a sleek white dress.

Her opening lines on the show were:

"They told me not to do a game show but I was like, s**** it, I can have fun, I'm a regular person."

As long as we're talking about Ari's impressions of celebrities who aren't singers, we can't miss her iconic Jennifer Coolidge impression on Fallon's The Tonight Show in 2018. On the show, Ariana Grande did the impression of Paulette, which was the character Coolidge played in the 2003 movie Legally Blonde 2.

As soon as she said, "Oh my God! You look like the fourth of July," the audience burst into a huge round of applause. The singer-songwriter had to wait for a minute to admit that she hadn't gotten to the punchline yet, then finishing it with:

"I'm taking the dog, you dum****"

Four years later, when Jennifer Coolidge arrived on Jimmy's show as a guest, and he showed Ari's impression to her, Coolidge called it "unbelievable." Grande's fans await more of her impression videos.
