Yungblud's first ever Bludfest, Bludfest 2024, was held at the National Bowl in Milton Keynes in England, UK, on August 11, 2024. During the event, some organizational defects came to light, with fans fainting due to long queues on a hot day as well as other problems.

Fans reacted to these problems and criticized the event on social media, as exemplified by the tweet below:

"It’s ridiculous - can’t believe there is no health and safety considerations for the thousands waiting. I am reading people fainting as well!! It’s crazy and so poorly organised,"

Fans further leveled criticism on the event, detailing their ordeal on posts on X, with criticisms including long queues and lack of security:

"Been stood in the bludfest queue for an hour and a half in 28 degree heat, no water, I genuinely feel faint and we’ve still got so far to go. Already missed jazmin bean, I’m so sad," one fan stated.
"sitting in the bludfest queue holding back tears it’s been over an hour and no sign of the entrance i’ve missed so much and i’m so upset and my feet hurt and i can’t stand/walk for much longer and i’m not even in the festival yet," another fan exclaimed their disappointment.
"sorry but bludfest and brat wasnt what i expected. queeing is very difficult and you had an hour of wait for EVERYTHING (even the fu**ing water???). not even mentioning the lack of security at barricades near the guest area (people from there literally got IN FRONT of the barrica," one netizen criticized.

More criticism was leveled at the lack of drinking water facilities, with some posts pointing out the lack of management as well:

"#bludfest is a mess. I dont believe its Dom’s fault. But this is horrendous. Me & my partner arrived at 11 and never got in. The queue is near 3hrs long. Theres people passing out. Theres disabled people there (including myself) and theres no staff anywhere offering water," another netizen stated.
"they should really have some better crowd management and maybe more water stations," one netizen stated.

More on Yungblud's Bludfest and AEG's response to the criticisms

Yungblud's Bludfest 2024 shows and the criticisms against it was addressed by AEG representatives, the organizers of the event, stating:

"We recognise that some fans experienced delays in entering Bludfest this weekend and apologise for the inconvenience caused. These delays were due to rigorous and heightened security measures, put in place following recent unprecedented events which have taken place in the UK, to ensure the safety of all fans arriving onsite, which is our number one priority."

The organizers of Yungblud's festival continued:

"We always endeavour to allow fans into the venue as quickly as possible, whilst at the same time working with local authorities to ensure all essential security checks are carried out thoroughly."

The organizers further stated:

"As part of our pre-event messaging, we encouraged all ticket-holders to come prepared for the hot weather and our teams on the ground assisted with handing out water, communicating shaded areas, and directing guests in need of additional assistance to the nearest welfare and medic stations. Upon the local authorities and security giving us the relevant permissions, we also opened additional gates and entrances."

AEG Presents ended the statement by affirming their commitment to implement changes for future events.

Yungblud's event featured performances by the likes of Lil Yachty, Nessa Barrett, and Hannah Grae, among others. The event was held at the National Bowl, in Milton Keynes.
