Joe Budden recently denied the rumors regarding his alleged involvement in the infamous 'freak-off' parties organized by hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs. During the Saturday, September 21 episode of The Joe Budden Podcast, Budden exclaimed that he was not on any of the tapes of Combs' parties recovered by authorities during raids at his residence.

Budden revealed that even his father called him and inquired about his rumored involvement with Combs to which he claimed that he was nowhere in the vicinity when any tapes were recorded. He also noted that he was never friends with Combs. Budden exclaimed:

"For the last time, can y'all take me off the list of names that y'all think is on these tapes. Why are ya'll so hell-bent on putting n***as on these tapes."

Amidst P. Diddy's arrest, federal indictment, and 'freak-off' party revelations, fingers began to be pointed toward a slew of celebrities who were rumored to be involved with Puff Daddy at infamous 'freak-off' parties. Amidst that long list of names was broadcaster Joe Budden.

Budden did maintain a professional relationship with Combs, with the duo even teaming up to produce the 2018 talk show, State of the Culture.

However, during Saturday's episode of The Joe Budden Podcast, Budden denied having anything to do with Puffy's 'freak-off' parties. Tapes of these parties were allegedly procured by authorities in raids of Diddy's Los Angeles and Miami residences back in March of this year.

As mentioned earlier, Budden requested people to take his name off the list of people they think are on the tapes and proclaimed that he wasn't on them. According to Budden, the rumors got so big that his father, who just learned how to work an iPhone, called him to talk about the rumors.

Joe Budden's dad thought that the whole thing was "crazy" but Budden clarified that he was nowhere on the alleged tapes. To further drive his point home, Budden noted how everyone now had a "camcorder dude" behind them, which he wasn't a fan of. Budden claimed that he did not even like to be recorded even with clothes on. He pointed out:

"Do you know how I would be in the nude?! I am a f**king prude."

When co-host Melyssa Ford questioned his "prude" statement, Budden responded:

"You can't just record by body dawg and on your premises."

Budden joked about never even going to girls' houses and to further drive his point home, he claimed that they were not even going to get a shot of him on a ring camera getting McDonald's drive-through from his passenger seat. Budden also had a few criticisms regarding the monumental amount of baby oil found at Diddy's residences. He exclaimed:

"Baby oil and not the gel?! Talk about a beginner!"

He narrated:

"You're taking back to when I was rummaging through Pop's side chick's medicine cabinet while they were asleep, just looking for something to rub one out on the carpet maybe."

Later on, in the podcast, when co-host Trevor "Queenzflip" Robinson questioned Budden about his "friendship" with Diddy, Joe Budden immediately stopped him and proclaimed that there was no friendship. Budden explained that he was "very clear" about where he stood and where people stood with him professionally.

Budden knew why people called him, where his value lay, and what he could do for people and brands. He knew how he was seen and pointed out that he wasn't friends with "nobody". Joe Budden exclaimed that his friends knew who they were and stated that it was time to stop with the public posturing. He elaborated:

"These are professional relationships. Some of these n***as are really fly and I'm fans of some of these people. Outside of that, ya'll know it's tough to get me out of the crib,"

P. Diddy was arrested on Monday, September 16, while he was at a New York City hotel. The hip-hop artist was charged with racketeering, s*x trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Despite being ready to offer a $50 million bond, Puffy was denied bail and continues to remain in custody, at the time of writing this article.
