American rapper Pusha T was named the brand ambassador for luxury brand Louis Vuitton on July 8, 2024, through a series of Instagram posts. The announcement highlighted Pusha T's collaboration with Pharrell, who is currently the creative director for the brand.

The Instagram post announcing the rapper as Louis Vuitton's latest brand ambassador stated:

"The Maison and Men’s Creative Director @pharrell are pleased to welcome the artist as the newest House Ambassador, beginning a new chapter of Louis Vuitton’s longstanding commitment to the musical arts."

Fans of the Mercy rapper expressed their excitement in the comments section of Louis Vuitton's Instagram post. One fan referenced the long-standing rap battle between Drake and Pusha T, quoting lyrics from Kendrick Lamar's diss track Euphoria:

"I don't like you poppin' shit at Pharrell, for him, I inherit the beef, Yeah, f*ck all that pushin' P, let me see you push a T, You better off spinnin' again on him, you think about pushin' me. Congratulations man Drake won't like this one"

Additionally, some fans hinted at how Pusha was the obvious choice for becoming LV's brand ambassador owing to his friendship with Pharrell, while others praised the rapper using phrases like "King":

The feud between Pusha and Drake began in 2011 when the Forever rapper took digs at Drizzy for using ghostwriters and not writing his own bars.

This turned into a rap battle between the two, and they have indirectly mentioned each other in several diss tracks over the years. Additionally, Drizzy has collaborated with Pusha's long-time rival Lil Wayne multiple times as a means to get back at the rapper.

"The Maison looks forward to this exciting collaborative journey ahead" — Louis Vuitton releases press statement welcoming Pusha T as brand ambassador

Apart from the Instagram post announcing Pusha T as the brand ambassador, Louis Vuitton also released a press statement mentioning that the Grindin' rapper's collaboration with the brand is a "testament to his commitment to artistry and a strong personal style." LV stated that Pusha's personal style aligns with the brand's dedication to showcasing unique expressions combining fashion and culture.

The luxury brand's press statement read:

"Pusha T’s role as House Ambassador underscores Louis Vuitton’s vision of bringing together diverse cultural influences to build powerful storytelling within its storied menswear universe. The Maison looks forward to this exciting collaborative journey ahead."

In other news, Pusha T walked the runway at Louis Vuitton's Spring/Summer Men's 2025 fashion show in June 2024. His fellow rapper, No Malice, also joined him during the fashion show, where they premiered their latest song, Birds Don't Sing.
