A brief look at Snoop Dogg's 2024 Paris Olympics journey and more

Snoop Dogg was one of the most prominent figures at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The rapper joined the games with the opening ceremony on July 26 and helped carry the torch.

Snoop aced many roles in the past weeks at the Paris Olympics, becoming a global entertainer at the biggest international games. The rapper worked as NBC's special correspondent, cheered for Team US, celebrated their victories, and entertained the audience with his impromptu commentary.

Snoop Dogg finally wrapped up the 2024 Olympics journey with the closing ceremony performance of Drop It Like It's Hot and The Next Episode on August 11. He was seen donning a white freestyle coat detailed with blue and red, symbolizing the colors of the American flag.

Snoop Dogg's coat was inscribed with the words, USA, while his bright-white t-shirt and matching pants had the Olympics symbol on them. Dr. Dre on the other hand, donned an all-black attire, featuring a tee and pants.

Snoop Dogg and Dre bonded together on the stage decorated with a majestic LA28 sign. The vibrant sign signified the 2028 Olympics, set to be hosted four years later in Los Angeles.

The City Of Angles will be hosting the games for the third time in history. Los Angeles first hosted the Olympics in 1932, followed by a second run in 1984. The countdown for the 2028 game began on August 11 when LA Mayor, Karen Bass, received the Olympic flag at the closing ceremony.
